Time; Given that so many say they will do such and such, if they only had more time and others say they will so whatever, when they have the time, I just have to ask, do we have enough time, or do we need more ?

Is the concept of time an excuse ?

Also, having too much time on one's hands,is it a good thing or a bad thing  ?

Just what exactly is the right amount of time we should have ?

I don't know what "The Right Amount" of time is.....but I do know that time was created to keep everything from happening all at once

We need more.   The day should be over 24 hours- but under 25.

The measuring of time is man-made.  It isn't that we have too little or too much time... it's that we either have too little or too much to do within given period of time.

I'm forever bemoaning the fact that I have too little time, but what I really want is less that I have to do and be responsible for so that I can spend more time on the things I'd like.

Of course, a lot of what I have to do is really what I feel I have to do to maintain the standard of living that I desire.  So in reality I am spending time on what I want.  It just doesn't feel that way.

*sighs*  It's a vicious circle.

And yes, idle hands are the devil's workshop.

Treasure has pretty much summed up how time applies to my life. The way I have chosen to live my life leaves me very little idle time.

You are young. Here are two things young people usually miss (along with that their positions on them are contradictory):

1) Boredom is only possible when one is boring. There's a fantastic palette of opportunities and activities available. Jump in.
2) While you may feel short of time, you will look back on these years and wonder what you did with all your free time. Seriously (though I know you'll doubt it now). You've yet to discover what busy means.

Live life a day at a time. It's how they come. But live them fully and well.

Ah. He's talked in the past about his student work, as we've debated the integrity of posting one's assignment here to have others essentially think for him.

So I assumed.

I think most people have quite enough time. A lot of people think they don't have enough time because they don't get enough things done that they want to get done, but that doesn't mean they don't have enough time. It just means they're trying to do too many things. That's not the same thing.
