well the title says it all. I have much to do and seek service oriented slaves / subs to help me complete my many tasks. However I am flooded with request. So I come to the source with this query! I of course have my own limits in mind but wanted to know what you guys (males especially) think about this. I consider your submission to me an intimate and personal relationship which can vary in regard to depth and level of intimacy. But if you had a Mistress with many slaves how would you feel, what would be tooo much? What are your limits, a Mistress that has too many sex partners if there is sex, too little time for you, not enough fulfilling work to do for Mistress etc..

I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Before you worry about the limits of potential slaves, shouldn't you be asking yourself how much time/ emotional energy you have to give to this segment of your life? Once you've gotten that figured out then you can find the slaves who can be satisfied with the time/energy you're willing to set aside.

Lucienne, thank you for your comment but I wasn't asking because Im unsure of myself in anyway. I know what is too many for me personally, and Im well aware of the time and energy that I have and need. I was just asking what slaves and subs think to get an idea of their limits simply as a point of conversation here. If it were more advice I needed (rather than just conversation) I would (and I do) simply ask each of my slaves and that is something we discuss together. Im just pondering how this works for others who are not mine. but thank you

Speaking from general experience, two are ideal—three the maximum. Others may of course feel differently, but I've found that managing more than three, even if they all live within the same household, tends to become a bit of a chore.

i'm not a guy, but i would think that when it gets to where She can't give adequate time & attention to each one, that would be too many. A Person can have a limitless number of slaves doing things for them, but then there's the issue of giving time and attention to each one of them, and most like at least some of that to be individual time & attention. Also, there's the issue that the Domme will probably need some downtime just for Her..... Of course, i've never been in a realtime poly situation, so..........

I am with the majority on here. If there is more than me, that is too many. I have been in a poly relationship and it just wasn't part of me.

I know some people have one or two slave sisters/brothers and are perfectly happy.

If they were non sexual, non romantic and didn't horribly detract from me getting all of his best, I probably wouldn't care how many people daddy had in his life.

That really isn't for me to determine. I think if you're open to being with someone that wishes to form a household you'd better accept you can't control how many they choose to have. Any consideration given is by choice not necessity. Having said that, the realities of having multiple people under your hand can more than many bargain for. Speaking from a woman's perspective, it's a delicate balance. Not only in terms of personalities and the obvious, but where each is in their respective submission. You'd also have to determine if you're going to afford some level of authority to one or more people when you're not able to attend to issues. That has its own nuances as well.

Lose any ideas you have brewing about a sisterhood and the like. That requires a firm leadership structure and calculated partner choices all around. It is imperative that you choose people that can happily coexist. Aside from consistency in command and attentiveness to those under tow, I believe that decision separates successful pairings from outright mayhem.

however she is absolutely spot on in my opinion.

owning more than one sub/slave (whether male or female)..can be an awful experience..and I mean that in the best possible way.

ghastly at worst...taxable at best..

for a long time ive loved the idea of a commune type of arrangement where we all pull together for the common good, each has their own duties to perform and life to lead and ultimately its all down to each person to fulfill their end of the bargain.

the way i see its more a case of finding the right people to fit in and pull together - if youve got one whose more demanding, insecure or a bit of an attention seeker it could all go tits up, so the M in control is the one who has to hold it all together - so for me its more to do with the ability of the Master than how many slaves or subs he keeps.
