I wanted to share some good news with my friends on here. As some know I had an appointment today regarding my section 8 housing. I was so worried that I may not qualify for what ever reason. This is something I have been waiting for for 4 yrs and with my current living situation I truly NEEDED. So I was scared it wouldnt go through and the case manager saw that concern when I walked in the office today. She asked my why I was so worried. I told her. She looked at me and said you are in the program as of today. I literally dropped to my knees and started crying. I have to go through an orientation but by July 1st me and my kids should in a better living situation. I am so excited.

This is such a big deal for me and my kids. I was so scared that it wouldnt work out, but now that it has I feel like I breath some. That must sound silly. Lol ETA: Thank you all so much you have been so supportive over the past few weeks. It means so much to me.

I just told my daughter she is 16 and she squelled so loud it made my hears hurt. Lol She is so happy I cant describe it.
