Well.....I felt it needed an update....mainly for those who said it was not possible.....sooooo.....see the links below from Team Mythbusters and enjoy!

It's the same thing from 3 different angles (22 seconds each)

btw....at the end of the TV broadcast they did say that the original video (link above) was a CG fake. However, they did prove that it is certainly possible to do it (just not as grand as the fake), as they were getting more than half the distance of the fake.
