When the OP finds herself in the emergency room one day, perhaps she will rethink her fantasies.

Amen!

An abusive cop is a double-edged sword. Who can she turn to, if the abuse becomes undesired? Theres a thin blue line between her and help.

scottandbeth02 -> RE: cops (7/14/2010 9:48:31 AM)

I am all for emotional pain...but that is just flat out asking to get killed! I think that is what she wants. I am truly scared for this woman.[:(] Just look at her photo...look at her eyes,empty...nothing! Sweetheart, I don't know what you are thinking (i hope its not what I think it is), but this kind of need /want is suicide! You don't know what kind of sicko is trolling on these websites. I know alot of people that are involved in the BDSM 24/7 and I have NEVER seen anything like what you are asking for. I will pray for you!! [:o]

Funny how quickly this kind of attitude changes when you are being robbed, shot at, crashed into...basically anything.
Then who calls 911 and expects a quick response ???

mstrjx -> RE: cops (7/14/2010 12:02:21 PM)

A deputy came into my store yesterday. Sat in the parking lot for half-an-hour before coming in, so I was relatively nervous. When he finally came in, asking for the Manager (me), he told me it was just for a routine visit. Able to let my guard down, I quickly became myself - 'You here to give me a ride home?'

Really doesn't say much for all the "Doms" she has on her Friends List either and what it does say isn't good.

OP I would be extremely cautious about getting into this kind of relationship. As one who has been there, it isn't nearly as much fun and a turn on as what you are imagining. It destroys rather than building up self confidence and self worth.

I was wondering about her friends list too.... and one of the men on there has a small child on his lap in his main photo....I have never seen a photo on collarme that has a child in a photo before so I am not sure if that is allowed.

I'm sure we'll read about what happens to the OP in the local paper [:'(]

Perhaps a trip to her local munch/club would educate her in the difference between 'bdsm' and 'abuse'...and show her that she CAN have her fantasy of control without the threat to her life. But maybe I'm hoping too much *shrugs*

Aylee -> RE: cops (7/14/2010 12:17:10 PM)

To the OP:

There is a domestic violence seminar here in Lawrence on Saturday.  I think that maybe you should attend.

Good point. I dated a cop, I have a female cop in my family. Many cops are abusive types. I often read profiles of women who say, "I want to meet a guy in uniform, a cop would be great!!"

As you say, you can have and live a fantasy vs. meeting a truly abusive person. Role play can be your friend.

OohAahMrs -> RE: cops (7/15/2010 6:41:17 AM)

Abusive cops, just ask one in a car, they're the worst, it's something to do with isolation and long hours on lonely roads.

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: cops (7/16/2010 10:12:46 PM)

Good LAWD almighty, you're how old? And that's what you're looking for? You show the mentality of a young teenage girl who gets herself in trouble with her first real boyfriend and doesn't know there's better out there for her. It leaves psychological marks forever and most likely physical ones also.

If you're serious why not try to find a local bar near a police station? That's where all the cop groupies hang out. Look for the cop making the most trouble, the loudmouth, the drunk. I'm sure you'll find one there. [>:]

That being said, I have the utmost respect for cops. They do a dangerous job everyday, a lot of the public hates them and they have to put up with the antics of the ones they arrest. Their relatives worry and wonder if their loved one will come home. Domestic abuse cases are the most dangerous and here you are wanting and looking for that. Wow, just WOW.

She never came back to attend that thread either. Seems like a whacky use of the forums if you post you are seeking abuse, then hide profile so no one can contact you and never return to attend the thread.

I suspect the poster is a cop.

The 'only' evidence I have is she/he/it joined in 2004, created a profile apparently intended to be a magnet for abuse, and asked only two questions in the interim, both intended to lure abusive personalities, and never responded to either (so an intelligent discussion isn't what he/she/it wanted).

Since he/she/it clearly doesn't want an erudite discussion, I feel it's appropriate that the moderators moved this thread from the BDSM "discussion" boards to the member introductions section. (I, for one, vote for a 'troll' section because that's what he/she/it is doing).
