Seems the Bush White House staff has never heard that saying.  In the lastest attempt to re-write recorded history Karl Rove claims the Bush White House never "questioned opponents motives or called them names"

Gee....I think recorded records will reveal this to not be true, never mind calling everyone in the Dem's a traitor for not supporting the president, cause we all can see how the GOP is supporting the president now, never mind saying not voting for the war money is helping the terrorists because no GOP member has voted for war spending since Obama won, so iu guess they are all supporting terrorists, no I'll let Rove ones words defeat him

”Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals.
During the 2008 campaign, Rove cast doubt on now-President Obama’s patriotism by attacking him for not wearing a flag pin — even though Rove wasn’t wearing one at the time — and criticized Michelle Obama for not showing “adequate enough” patriotism after she had given a lengthy speech professing her love of country. And in the very same speech where Rove touted the honesty of the Bush White House, Rove falsely attributed a statement to President Obama that was actually made by Michelle.

Karl Rove, spinning the story??? That's even more of a shocking development than President Obama's auntie winning her deportation appeal!

thats what they do with everything!  commit the crime and provide the distraction, then revise revise revise.

The most obvious are the so called "terror" attacks on this country and nothing is more obvious than kennedy and waco.

Rove has been busy behind the scenes. From a recent article in Rolling Stone.

Rove Rides Again

Bush's former strategist is secretly seizing control of the GOP – and amassing $135 million to destroy the Democrats

By Tim Dickinson
May 12, 2010 10:00 AM EDT

"Rove and Gillespie, who effectively ran the Republican Party throughout the past decade, recognized that Steele's weakness represented an opportunity to stage a quiet comeback. But taking control of the party, they knew, would require a new kind of political machine. The Supreme Court, in its recent decision in Citizens United v. the Federal Election Commission, opened the floodgates for unlimited political spending by corporations and individuals. But the court left in place strict limits on contributions to party committees – and it preserved the legal firewall that bars campaigns from coordinating directly with the outside groups now empowered to spend millions on their behalf."
