Hey, tattoos are a personal issue, as they say: “to each his own”.  As long as no one forced somebody to get a tattoo against their will then it is no one’s business, but the person and their G-d.

I like tattoos. I have one on my hip and would consider more - they would be placed in a discreet location that is covered by my clothing. That is what I am comfortable with personally.

I was dating a man who was heavily tattooed and I loved it. My man now has no tattoos and I love him the way he is. It's something I find attractive but not necessary.

Not your body - it's mine
Not your choice - it's mine
Not your burden - it's mine
Not your Message - it's mine
Not your Perogative - it's mine

So if you don't have one you really only have one thing to say.

"I wouldn't get one"

And those of us who have them rarely ask you why you DIDN'T get one no matter how many judgemental times you may ask us.

No, he also has the right to refuse to become involved with anyone who has one.

"but you seem a bit judgemental in your post and for considering a tattoo, you come off a bit hypocritical. just my honest opinion. "

Accepted as such, and actually to be considered. I always want honest opinions.

This is something I do not take lightly, and I don't look down on those who are trustees of modern inkmanship. In fact I know people who probably have more ink than blood, even on their head. They would normally rather shave their head, but to keep their job, can't.

Maybe my concept would be better done on canvas, and framed for hanging up in my vestibule. Who knows.

Doesn't make sense...Do you know what the word hypocritical even means? How is reynard coming off as hypocritical? Does he own tattoos or a tattoo parlor?

Dommes are so dumb.

Tattoos are something that I think should be done with a lot of forethought. Most of the people I've known with tattoos got them just to have them and usually those ones turn out horrible. I plan on having a full back piece done in small stages over several years. Each part of it has special meaning to me and it would show the transformation I've gone through the last couple of years. It won't be done lightly or even anytime soon. I'm still in the process of gathering all the symbols and their meanings that I want.

I think tattoos done to shock or just because are usually not that attractive. Being tattoo'd all over your body, arms face back legs ect is just too much. Especially parts like your arms or your face which everyone is going to see when you're out in public. If you're going to hve a  tattoo do it tastefully.

I don't care for the current trend of body mods. They just do not appeal to me. I won't allow anyone that I have influence over to get one. I have one piercing in each ear but that is the extent of my interest for myself.

As much as I dislike most body modification, I wouldn't turn away a potential for having them.....that would be silly. The human being inside is more important than the canvas stretched over it.

Which one are you from?

See I can give you an answer. You can only come up with on the fly snips that you think are funny.

Tribal refers to a style of tattoo, the style of mine does not mimic any indiginous tribe of Austrailia or Africa nor was it intended to.

I have been acepted into a Tribe called Quest, they call me Mr Wendel.

I have 9 tats.... 2 are a political statement, the rest are meaningful. but of course because I am female and have them I am "bullshit" wow talk about bullshit. everyone of my tats are a commitment to those I love and have lost! I respect people right to mods. I DO NOT respect those who disrespect everyone else and say only YOURS are good and important. and if you are getting a peice of work done then it is art work moron or you could of course just have a 2 year old draw it then everyone will know you dont mean it as art work but as a "statement"

I agree about 169%. No jewelry, piercings, nothing. I don't like any of it on anyone, it's a bunch of bullshit.

I have and am considering one tattoo, but it is an extremely strong political statement. I haven't done it but have considered it. It would consist of the statue of liberty with her torch burning the Consitution. If I do this it is a committment. It is forever. It has to do with among the firmest of my political views about immigration, legal or illegal.

But really, such a thing would not be for decorative purposes.

In fact, find me a broad who has never even had her ears pierced and I would like to talk to her. Fuck all that bling. Tattoos are the same thing. People want them because they look cool, not me. I either make a statement or I don't, and it would be a lifelong statement, not something I take lightly. Even a tattoo for membership in some organisation maybe, but never, ever for decoration.

I guess I can be controversial about just about anything. From post #2 all the way down here. I don't disrepect people because of tattoos, I just think for the most part, they are a waste. My disrespect is reserved for a much nastier crowd. I could outline that if you like, but that would be the hijack of the year.

I have similar reservfations about piercings and jewelry. I won't even wear a watch. And that is up to the individual. However some things burn me up a bit. Seeing a 5 year old boy with pierced ears and earrings. How the hell could he consent ? Someone else made that decision. Then we have the case of my buddy's daughter when she was about 4. Shows me a pair of earrings and says she's gotta get her ears pierced so she looks pretty. I give her a big bear hug and tell her that she doesn't need anything to look pretty.

In that post it should've read I have considered and am considering. I left out that one word apparently. I have none at this time. But all this does prove one thing. I can be controversial on any issue. In fact a buddy of mine thinks he's smart and knows alot about science. A few days ago we actually had an argument for about a half an hour over why the sky is blue. He thought he knew what he was talking about but I set him straight.

Maybe that's just my nature. Perhaps leaving that one word out was a Freudian slip so to speak.

i have 3 tatts.  one i actually love too!  an ankle bracelet of daisys that i got me for my 40th bday.

the lovely blue bird that i had done at 16ish is now a long legged stork.  the one on my arm, i like but wish it was elsewhere.

but hell, they are there and they aint going anywhere, so if it was a dealbreaker, well, it is what it is and that would just mean we werent a good fit.

More like a rebel without a cause.  Unless you are James Dean, then you really are a rebel without a cause.
