Look at the eyes and nose - somebody get photoshop cranked up and overlay these two shots.  The more I look, the more I'm SURE we have the same person.

BUT more importantly, the profiles are written in the same style.  Many, many years of being a copy-editor have given me an "ear" for such things.  If I was given these two profiles as samples in amongst, say ten others, I'd snap to equal authorship in a jiff.

ETA: Shizumi/Anna joined 4 days after OP.  I guess it took that long to cut beard off! LOL!  That red hair is pretty much a give-away, especially since OP covered his up with a beret.  ::: sigh :::

I just called upon our mutual friend ResSad, whom, as I remember, has whopping PS skills.  On the other hand, we might not hear from him for a few hours.

Nope.... sympathetic if anything.  I had a girlfriend when I was sophmore in college.  She was a senior in High School.  Her brother had raped her and approached me with a "deal."  If I'd marry her, he would buy me the car of my choice. I didn't.

I completed college, and went into the Peace Corps (which service deferred the draft - not replaced)  Came back, got my Master's and two weeks after graduating DID marry a "real" girl.  That didn't last too long and I moved to Colorado to be with my first gay lover.  (All the first part of my life was in Chicago.)  Guess what?  The rape victim found me through a class I was teaching - saw my (distinctive) name in the brochure and tracked me down, some 10 or so years later.
