abrattyprincess -> RE: What is the material the "wet" diaper bags are made out of? (5/23/2010 7:40:10 PM)

It's probably a type of Nylon PUL (polyurethane laminated fabric). This is basically a Nylon material that is lined with a waterproof backing. For a wet bag, you can basically use any waterproof material, breathable or non-breathable. Here's a site for getting affordable good waterproof materials. www.wazoodle.com. Go to the diaper shop area, and get some of the Taslan (they currently only have it in plain white). It is basically a Nylon PUL. Very nice and makes great wet bags! The procare is cheaper and also makes nice wetbags, but it is thicker and not as pretty. It works great though. They also have a Fabrite which is newer but looks really great. A website for an easy pattern is: http://www.amitymama.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=907&highlight=flat%20seam Hope this helps!
