Has anyone noticed there seem to be more and more obviously fake profiles on here of a certain type (in the UK anyway)? They are for attractive sub women, usually early middle age, with pics and go along the lines of, 'I know I can't compete with younger girls, I have left my older rich husband and will do anything, I am worthless' etc etc They just don't ring true. I was wondering if anyone has ever replied and what happened? Any ideas why
(presumably a man) would create such a profile?

Bet they're all trapped in Africa somewhere... either that or the slew of 20 something girls has swapped tactics for a while.

I had this issue on a forum I used to look after.

The fix took some time and research but the end result was the blocking of a number of IP ranges effectively blocking certain countries from accessing the forum.

Pretty sad that it came to this but we were spending a few hours a day at one stage cleaning up after the scammers, Phishers and scammers and it was pissing the members off as well.
Although this isn't a fool proof way of curing the problem it made us a hard target and eventually they buggered off and stopped trying.

Most of the IP ranges serviced East African countries and a handfull of eastern European ISPs were blocked as well.

How many of these profiles are we talking about anyways?  2, 20, 200?  That does make a difference, you know.

Why not?  If it was an abusive marriage that they were remaining in FOR the money and finally left I am sure that they have low self-worth at this time for not having made that change long ago.

No.  I do not tend to write to profiles.  Although if you are really curious about these women, I think that perhaps you should send them a mail.  Not that their life and choices are really any of your business anyways.

I am not a man and I have never created such a profile, so I have no idea.

half of the profiles here are fake anyway, then another half are delusional people, add 25% of nuts, 40% abandoned...and you can see why it is hard to find THE ONE!!!!

Still fun though...

I am carefully looking at your math and wondering which part of the 165% I fit into...?

No no no angelika...look at what it says under your name...."deranged" you might be in the nuts, or the delusional since you are probably a human being.

I'll fix the math though, 35% of profiles are men passing off as women. Is that better, a nice neat 200% for you.

That's funny, but the concept is true and it's not much better on the other side, add a whole hell of a lot of wankers when you're looking at the guys....but see that's what you should expect, and then if you expect it, you aren't as disappointed and then you aren't starting thread #34,912 on how many fakes there are!

I for one, refuse to believe that anyone would prowl this site.
Why, that would mean all that money I have sent might not be have gone to feed the starving children.
Next thing you know, someone is going to say my female inmate pen pal might not be who she claims....hahahaha....but I have the canceled money orders to prove she's real.
