I wonder if there's such things as a "fad" fetish,

like something that a lot of people get into for only a while and than it dies down

(sorry for explaining the meaning of the word "Fad"),

if there are such fetishes, which one is the new fad?

haha is that a good enough post ;P

I remember for awhile,  everyone was raving , using, and buying the violet wand.  Now,  I dont see many using it or talking about it compared to about 8-10 yrs ago.

It's not exactly a fetish, per se, but there for the longest time it seemed like everybody and their brother were leading discussion presentations on "Transparency At The Top".  Almost like 'transparency' was the new buzz word in all of BDSM.  Most of the time, it was the same rehashed stuff over and over, which had basically been 'borrowed' from someone else's presentation.

When I first got into it all, the place I started, it was needles, specifically needle corsets, all of the 'in crowd' had photos of them on their profile and if you didn't have one then you simply were not hardcore enough or whatever

My fad is "FUCK A DUCK".  My avian populace appears to be more joyous because I'm only picking on one of their species instead of "Fuck A Bird". The local narrow-minded, blinkered and self-righteous wousers are up in arms and accuse me of bestiality where last week I was accuse of cruelty to Crows when I exclaimed "Stone the bloody crows". 'FUCK A DUCK" seems to have interesting side effects when a goodly number of old ducks in the local pensioner gatherings keep making "come to bed" eyes at me much to my wife's amusement.

I think cell popping might be the new black
And I think the anti-fad is people learning to take it easy with the Hitachi

Fads are meaningless to sound minds. There is, in truth, no such thing. It's only the insecure need to fit in to the flock, like the sheep everywhere else do. I've even been accused of "tryig too hard" for wearing the butterfly my wife crowned me with on my crown of skulls. My initial thought was "Trying what?" Then it hit me. It's the socialism thing. I lack the mindset to interact outside of business because I feel it's pointless. I dont try to fit in, or look "hard core enough" becauseI'm incapable of caring about the "enough for WHAT?". I even perfected my skills in psychology at such a young age simply to annnihilate any of the humanity that goes along with actual conversation. I simply read the person, and there is no longer a need to "get to know you better". By that same pattern of thought, there isn't anything to lead me to follow anything, I'm immune to peer pressure, and I'm a perfect leader. I dress in black because I like black, I wear the hat I and my mother made, because it is my creation, I even sold a similar design, and I wear the butterfly because no other straight man CAN rock a butterfly and have it work. I do what I do with confidence, and anyone who has an oppinion can never voice it as we will never speak. If they chose to whisper in husshed ear while I'm around I'll never care enough to notice, and if they make it a point to interrupt MY mind with THIER meaningless oppinions, then I make an example, and move on. Immunity to fads is simply a higher mind.
