Greetings

pahunk....I do hope you have read this study: http://people.csail.mit.edu/rahimi/helmet/

Termyn8or....If you can remotely activate the release of certain neurotransmitters at pre-planned points combined with specific external stimuli then it would not be that expensive and while it would take time, could be very effective in doing that. This is not the motor control you may be thinking of.

Be well....

T/You think your thoughts are so important that they need to know them. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They simply don't care. You can disappear at any time, no problem./snip

Who needs thoughts?    The proper electric signal- can make you do any number of things.   Imagine this on a mass scale.

I don't believe that I implied any motor control was possible at this time. But with current technology control can be achieved, albeit at a great cost.

First of all most RFID chips or tracking chips or whatever are quite small, this would have to be a bit bigger. Not that it can't be done, but making it impossible to detect would pose a very big problem. Most likely they would have to use an extant injury for camoflage. But how is this accomplished ?

Well having certain thoughts for some results in the change in the chemical balance of the brain, which is reflected in the blood chemistry. A detection method would have to be in place to monitor for these specific changes. The implant would then respond either by electrical impulses or the introduction of a toxic substance in controlled quantities, resulting in a negative feedback type of training method.

You see, it is much easier to coopt the mind in this manner than it would to try to control the motor functions of a human being. The latter would be beyond the current limit of the state of the art. Not to say this limitation will exist forever, but I have a pretty good finger on it and think that it is vey unlikely unless there is alot more that I don't know than I think, and I think not. However I am still going through five year old technology finding some quite amazing things. Then a few years ago they figured out how to make a transistor(the building block of all electronics) with only one molecule. In fact I predict that computers just aren't going to get much faster anytime soon because what is in the way now is literally C (the speed of light).

Likewise with an implanted dog. They could detect the dog version of adrenaline in the blood and respond with a small amount of concentrated toxicant, averting the dog from aggressive behavior. This is well within the limits of current technology. It is not done for a few reason, not the least of which is cost. What's more such a device could easily be commanded to perform differently under different circumstances if need be. This resulting in a form of control that, to my knowledge at least, has not been done. That does not mean it has not.

What does all this mean ? For one without the extreme technical background people will always be suspicious. And I don't blame them. You have no idea what they can do now, and they have been working on it for most of my lifetime. They do not tattle on themselves, so how do you know ?

However the idea that an implant can get a virus is still a bit far fetched. First of all how would it get there ? The only communication to that chip is limited, so it would almost have to be intentional or the result of some malfeasance on the part of an employee or former employee. You don't connect to an RFID chip with a cellphone, unless it is one hell of a special cellphone. It's not like it is a new marketing frontier for McAffe's and Norton's, which are both scams by the way.

What's more, if you give it some thought, why in the hell would they "leak" such a story in the first place. I can think of a few reasons and none of them are what the average Joe would concieve. What people fail to realize is that everything they see and hear on any form of media is meant to influence. Just what did they accomplish here ? Think about it.

That is what I am talking about, a higher form of reasoning. When anyone tells me anything I automatically wonder what their reasons are for doing it, even sharing knowledge. Knowledge is power, and knowledge shared is power lost. I will share it here because of the anonymity, that it does not affect me directly. You think I will tell my RL friends that they have been under a microspoce for the entire duration of the time they have known me ? Why would I share that ? But I use the information I have gleaned to deal with each in their own separte way, there own "program" so to speak. I can't just go revealing that to everyone, because once on the defensive I will not get the pure unadulterated data I need to effectively, ummmmm, maintain my position.

In RL, I expose certain things to certain people as I see fit, when I deem it to my advantage to do so. No sooner, if ever. Why would anyone else do any different ?

Interesting reply Term.  Thank you.

How about a chip in young people- that emits that scream sound only they can hear- set off- when going near booze.   or naked woman.

Or maybe a chip in the elderly that aggravates pain levels when they spend SS.

-- a pleasure chip for everyone who STAYs inside the casino near the slots.  intensified when dropping quarters.

Isn't that the intent of anabuse and saltpeter ? Why not just slip some into their cheerios in the morning ?

LOL.

They do that too.    Maybe not the Cheerios.  But your premise is spot on.
