Does love ever happen like it does in the movies?  Does anyone have a love story whether it be from the past or hell maybe you dream about it happening in the future..   has anyone experienced love like it happens in the movies?

Well all I know is that my wife and I have been in love and married for almost 20 years. It was kind of like in the movies. The first time we met we talked for over 4 hours about everything. Then on the second date she said she had something to tell me and I said the same thing. We ended up telling each other that we were both involved in the D/s lifestyle, and we also found out that we were both Dominants.

I met my husband at a local BDSM Lifestyles munch and I was drunk. We talked forever. Within the next couple of days he stated that he had no problems with me drunk  (i guess he saw me on a good day ) and figured I was a person he would like to get to know.

Well the long and short of it is that we are married now and I am so happy. We have been married 5 months and some odd days and I am happier than I have ever been in my life. Not only did I find the love of my life, but I found someone who I connected with in this lifestyle. I was worried that I would never find someone that was into the same things or someone who I could explore new avenues with.

Wild1cfl: I only hope that I will be as happy as you sound in 20 years. Also you said that you both found out that you were into the BDSM and that you were both Doms. Was that a strain at any time or do you guys switch for each other? I am just curious....

The first time I met Tikk, she punched me in the face. I knew right then and there that she was for me. That was 8 years ago.

Absolutely. I met my husband online, you know him here as ScooterTrash, my ad had been up for a couple of days when I got an email from him. There were so many reasons why I didn't think I should meet him, our profiles were so different from each others and only one that I should... his first name... I've never met a man with that name that I didn't like. So we went out. He took me to dinner and I talked his ear off for nearly 3 hours... told him everything there is to know about me. I figured one of two things would happen, either we would hit it off and he would know that I keep no secrets or I would drive him crazy and I'd never hear from him again. Well, we went out again. Then I spent a long weekend at his house, returned home on Sunday afternoon in time to go to work and moved in with him on Tuesday. Valentines Day of that following year he proposed to me.

I've never been happier, couldn't be happier... I found my soul mate and my best friend.

The really good part is that we grew up just missing each other. We hung around the same park, went to the same skating rink, the same mall... we even moved west at about the same time... then, twenty or so years later we both moved back to Indiana at about the same time.
