The only conspiracy I see is that humans saying oil is the only way to live by. Random chaos has tried to show us more than a few times that oil drilling IS NOT wise and we need to stop the practice. When is are we going to learn to move on from our need for Oil.

We have almost learned to do without paper; we now have to do the same with oil. When was the last time YOU peddle biked, skate boarded, or inline skated to work?

No it's not a cheap shot, because I see asinine posts like these everyday from you and Real, now we're going to have more people posting Alex's babbling?

As a matter of fact, you posted this same You tube clip and had your ass handed to you by everyone on the thread before you finally admitted you and Alex were wrong and the reference to a swat team was not to law enforcement but to a crisis management team.


ya ok so there was a misunderstanding in the acronym SWAT.But what about this this rig exploding the day before Earth Day? isn't that ironic? What about Haliburton serviceing the rig the day before it exploded? Isn't that kind of ironic? What about Obama banning offshore oil exploration in Alaska, and putting a motatorium on gulf, and east cost deep watter rigs, isn't that ironic? Doesnt that hinder us from reducing our dependency on foreign oil? We will never end the middle east conflict, or reduce our dependency on middle east oil at this rate. Google AIPAC. What about oil being up 2$ per a barrel? BP is paying out 4mil$ a day for the clean up. But they produce 4mil barrels a day. Now with the price up 2$ abarrel so they are making an extra $4mil a day as a result of their own disaster. Isn't that ironic?

The only one of those things that fits the definition of "ironic" is the fact that the explosion occurred 2 days before Earth Day, but so what? In fact,  with all due respect, the whole post is a big "so what." Is there an argument in there somewhere? Because I'm not seeing one, frankly.

So what you are implying is that this is a conspiracy by Green Peace, Haliburton, Obama, Foreign Oil and OPEC, BP, Exxon and every other oil producer.

Thats a whole lot of people involved from different corners of a field to produce a huge cluster of complications.

Yes Tazzy exactly. Im implying the possibility of a giant conspiracy. Greenpeace is funded by bigmoney oil companies like paphunk said. You must know about haliburton and their role of war corpratization in the middle east, along with blackwatter. Obama come on? We know that these presidents are just spokes people for the giant corporations. He seems like a nice guy. But I believe he is told what to do and say by the big money in this country. Now about foreign oil. You remember when gas was ove $4 a gallon 2 summers ago? There was a big rush to find an alternative fuel, and to drill domesticly. If we suceeded at both of thoses there would be less demand for oil, and less value. So that means we'd be buying far far less foreign oil, at a lower price. I dont think ourgovernment wants that. Why do I think that? Because Obama stopped oil exploration in Alaska, and put a mortatorium on drilling platforms in the gulf. Now doesnt anyone think it is weird, or in someway wrong that bp is rpofiting $4mil a day from this enviromental disaster?
