ORIGINAL: Moonhead Actually, the human race has come up with loads of stuff we didn't have from God: birth control, electricity, fire, the wheel, medical research, like that. Even GOLD would be pretty worthless if we didn't have an idea of its scarcity and decorative value, and how handy it is in electronics. Rights, in particular, are a human conceit, not a divine one. I'd be very interested to hear where in the Bible the right to vote, or the right of women to be treated any better than livestock is made clear. Well your statement should show you that you really need to start from the bottom rung if you want to grasp any of this. The most educated through out history all would disagree with you. In fact the elite (at least the good guys), follow that bible to the letter when structuring much of the world and law around you. People who recognize God in the works begin to understand and those who do not sink with it. Its what separates the slaves under the law and the creators of the law. Hate to be the one to tell you this, sweetie, but most educated people don't take the sort of bullshit conspiracy theory drivel you and pahunk spend all your time on here blathering about. Your own country is pretty clear about a separation between government and religion being desirable, to pick one of the most obvious examples of you talking out of your arse above. using a religious text as the basis for a legal system has always been big in the Persian Gulf, though. You tend not to get a lot of American neocons who think that Shariah law is a good idea, but I suppose that's a more popular notion out in Paranoisia where the buses don't run. you know I come out here and I quote a lot of law and frankly I am shocked that people would label it conspiracy theory. Then again if you do not know what the law is I gues its not to surprizing that is the case. Yes I am well versed in the understanding of the separation of powers that does not really exist. Try studying the law of the flag and tell me why we have the executive military commander and chiefs flag in our presumed civilian court houses? Dont answer until you study the law of the flag because I will just call you, well uneducated.
