But the Nation of Islam not much different from any other extremist, fundie group. They`re like tea-gaggers,only they sell bean pies to earn revenue. Wow Sanity, not like you to let the racist flag fly so openly. Obama does not live in a mansion. He lives in a nice hous on the north edge of Hyde Park (Greenwod and Hyde Park to be specific.) Farrakhan lives 2 blocks north and 2 block east on a stretch of 49th and his is the only house there that would be called a mansion. Neither home is in "gangstaland." The area is pretty much exactly what you'd expect in an integrated upper middle class urban area (assuming of course you're not so bigoted that you're unable to imagine such). The FoI do tend to try, emphasis on try, their weight around but since the local police won't put up with it all it amount sto is them talkingominously into radios and glaring.

Shit, I've seen old houses like that in Dayton, fer cryin' out loud. Including the yard. Gonna ask him if he's got the latest and greatest thermal windows, extra insulation, etc.? My place was built without Tyvek, and has cheap-ass contractor aluminum frame windows that conduct cold verrrry nicely. Do you recommend I pull the siding off to put Tyvek in? I'm already pondering replacing the windows (would be easier if I didn't have to deal with an HOA). Based on houses the same size in my own neighborhood (that sold for about the same amount during the housing bubble, That's a 4 bedroom, 2 or 3 bath house. The attic may or may not be finished (I doubt it not much headroom despite the pretty windows). 1st floor is probably living room, den, kitchen, dining room. So 10 rooms. It's a nice house but they've likely taken a bth on its value since one in my neighborhood just sold for 900k. It is a far cry from a mansion. Certainly most mansions are set back off the street for rivacy. Obama's home is right on the sidewalk on the east side as it quite clear from the overhead shots you posted.

It may that his digs aren`t as considerable,by comparison. Growing up in north Jersey,my family lived in a twelve room house.4 bedrooms including the attic bed.Two and 3/quarters baths,a small front parlor and living-room with a den,a formal dinning room and my dad added a kitchen/laundry room combo with a mudroom at the rear door.It also had a narrow balcony which I heard was for drying linens and a neat witch`s-hat roof feature.It also had a fireplace in every room and gas lamps(that were disconnected) My dad payed 24 thousand for it in '73'. Did we have a mansion? That would be news to us. I mean there are mansions in Glen Ridge.Huge ones with twenty five plus rooms.I know someone who pays over 25 hundred dollars a month in property taxes to live in one. It`s also a little creepy when someone "questions" why a black man is successful or has money. What`s that about?

Why do you need to keep bringing up skin pigmentation, O59? No bonus points are awarded for minority status at his level of performance review. Certainly you aren't suggesting we should lower our expectations and make allowances because of it? That would be racist.
