No. Why drag out the inevitable? Could you imagine how unhappy you would be if you kept dating him!!?

Going out on a date (young age).

Being driven to a dark road.

Told to put up or get out.

Smiling as i see my brother pull up behind us.

Got out, got into my brothers car and just smiled.

Same thing that guy did for the next month (spitting)... when he got his teeth fixed.

thornhappy -> RE: Bad Dating Experiences (5/30/2010 6:15:10 PM)

1) Went out to dinner with one of our IT guys, who I knew fairly well.  Went back to his place, and after some misc conversation, learned that he had many "friends" (i.e., NSA partners) all around the country.  Along with "the" girlfriend south of here who knew nothing about said "friends" (they'd carried on an affair before she divorced).  And he didn't practice safe sex (I coulda blistered him with the look I gave him, he said it was a little scary when we talked again a few days later).  And when I didn't want to stay overnight, he got on the phone (before I was even out the damn door) to call for one of his "friends".

2) Went out to dinner with an engineer from another department.  Found him +40lbs from pic, took him geocaching after work (he wanted to see what it was), and his car looked like he'd been living in the damn thing.  Like a hoarder's car.  And it smelled....and he smelled weird too.  He breathed like a bellows even when sitting still.

These were towards the end of a 5 year dry spell, and let's say I was less than happy with either experience.

I have nothing more unusual than the standard age/weight/height lies (although, at 5'8", I was very upfront and vocal about how tall you had to be.)

Then there was the guy who spoke quark theory and quantum physics all through dinner.....oh, wait, that turned me on. [:D]

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: Bad Dating Experiences (5/30/2010 8:59:59 PM)

Several years ago, I had a dinner date with a prospective sub at a Chinese restaurant near my house.  He held a professional position and sounded very impressive in e-mail and on the phone.  While I ate dinner, he ordered and downed four sakis.  He had also ordered a bowl of soup that he didn't touch.  During the dinner he kept telling me how cute and adorable I was, to the point where it was getting nauseating.  At the end of the evening, he gave me a dopey expression and asked me to take him to my car and hurt him real bad.  I told him I would do nothing of the sort, hurried to my car, and drove off.  I was planning to just send him an e-mail the next day telling him off, and then blocking him.

I had given him a number to call for one reason and one reason only.  I had told him not to ever call that number for any other purpose.  He had a business meeting earlier in the day and was not sure if he could make our dinner.  I told him to call that number, leave a message as to whether he could make it or not, and I would call to retrieve messages to know if I should go home from work or go to meet him at the restaurant.  Well, he called that number at 1:30 A.M. and woke me up.  I told him off then and there, blocked him from calling me, blocked him from e-mailing me, and that was that.

Well the worst dating experience was the woman who turned out to be 20 years older than she had told me she was and then asked me if I could really tell the difference. I explained that well in the other pictures she had sent she had Teeth. She went OH! and pulled them from her purse and put them in. I left before the meal could even be ordered.

Then she followed my car for a trip around town before I thought she had given up because I could not see her car anymore. A hour after I got home, there was a knock at the door and it was her. When I said I wasn't interested she showed me her pussy, and asked if that changed my mind. I said no, shut and locked the door.

My Neighbors ended up calling the cops on her. The Police spent an hour and a half in front of the house then eventually came to my door to ask me if she had attacked me. I said "NO, why would you ask?" to be informed that she had two warrants out for her arrest for failure to appears in two different states for attacking men when they asked her to leave.

I didn't date anyone for awhile after that. I was gun shy for about a month where no matter who it was if we went on a date I would call a cab and have them pick me up BEHIND the place that we were at. Then I would have them go to a Hotel Taxi Stand before taking me home.

QSM,

Ok you kinda win the bad date post imo. That's awful, as in awful like it could only happen in a bad B movie and how the hell did I get in this mess - truly awful! I'm sorry, that sucks, although...I have to say...I laughed reading it. In retrospect, it's funny.

Dinner. Restaurant. Squid. Beard.

Ladeez and Gemmuns, I nearly suffered a fatal brain hemorrhage attempting to keep a straight face while steadfastly refusing to enlighten him that the little tentacles were waving gaily at me from the fringe as he orated -- nonstop. I couldn't have gotten a word in edgewise if I'd tried, which I didn't. By gum, I was going to get SOMETHING out of that gawdforsaken evening, and I did. A memory that never fails to cause me to dissolve in giggles.

myotherself -> RE: Bad Dating Experiences (5/31/2010 3:53:13 AM)

thankfully it was just a 'nilla coffee date.

Met in a city centre coffee shop on a summer's day, mid-morning. I got there early, ordered coffee. My seat was about 15 feet from the door.

I smelled him before I saw him. Sweat, cigarette smoke, urine, beer, and a strong musty odour I still can't place but makes me think of dead animals [:'(] But at least he'd worn body spray. Gallons of the stuff.

He made his way over. Sat down next to me. Put his hands on mine. His chewed-off fingernails were black with dirt. His teeth were green and furry. His hair was plastered in gel or grease of some kind (I don't wanna linger on that...urghh...) and in the grease there were lumps of dandruff caught. Big lumps. And in my nightmares some of them moved [:'(]

He tried to kiss me - I moved my head. He told me in loud voice I looked like a 'hot cunt'. The people on the next table moved further away.

He told me to go get him a coffee. I went to the counter and the waiter asked me straight away - quietly - if I wanted to leave. I said yes. He led me to the side of the counter, and when the creepazoid had his back turned he led me into the kitchen and showed me the back exit.

I have never run so fast in my life! [:D]

Thorn- why did I think you were a male?

Your posts seem more male.   Anyone tell you that?

LillyoftheVally -> RE: Bad Dating Experiences (5/31/2010 5:20:15 AM)

Meeting a guy from the internet who failed to tell me he was deaf and could barely lip read

A guy who spent the whole time talking about the intricacy of selling mobile phones then asking if I wanted a shag

The guy who burst into tears half way through because his parents had been rowing a week or so before

I could go on.

pahunkboy -> RE: Bad Dating Experiences (5/31/2010 5:37:00 AM)

I had a date when - later the boyfriend showed up.

I was upstairs- no glasses or car keys, or shoes on.  and thought about climbing out the window.

He was shood off- and I was told "that guy borrowed some movies from me"

Which might have been believable except for my date spent hours "checking his email" which really meant he was in a AOL chat room.

Nice guy- - I would talk to him- but I aint driving 2 hours for that.

Height...or lack thereof.

I am 5'12 (oh shup...women are NEVER 6 ft). He told me he was 5'9. He added two inches onto the height he normally lies about, with was two inches taller than he really was (you following this?)

He was 5'5 and actually was SURPRISED that i noticed.

At the end of the evening he held out his arms and i didn't know if he wanted a hug or wanted up.
