Nobody every said you had to use cooking chocolate in baking VC, so I raided the supermarket and bought those low carb ice mint boiled sweeties, Aero bars and Cadbury chocmint chokky.
I then used the CBT breadboard and hammer to smash the boiled lollies, ate 2 peppermint Aero bars and added the remaining 3 with the cadbury chockolate to the cookie dough and baked 5 trays of the buggers.
I have to say that im not a huge fan of peppermint unless a werewolf is chasing me but this batch of cookies not only smelt obscenely good baking but were farkin delish!
Within a few moments of the cookies going into the oven (120 Celsius) I had 5 kids and a drooling subbie in the kitchen to see what the smell was.
I of course blamed the dog but they didnt go away until I pointed at the pile of washing up and the 3 mixing bowls at which point they all vanished into thin air along with the mix bowls.
I promise that the next time I make these I will take photos, to taunt you all from afar.
OR you can find a good low temp cookie recipe and add what you want to the mix.
