The Obama-haters rail about the level of federal spending since he took office.
That spending PALES in comparison to what Bush spent on a totally UNJUSTIFIED war and on another war that he barely started and then FORGOT about.
Bush spent close to 1 TRILLION on an unjustified war and he HID that spending - it was NEVER included in the official budget.
He also lied about the justification for war, about warrantless wiretapping, about rendition, and about torture.
W was the worst President in the history of America.

As of today, that’s how much we’ve spent just in direct costs so far on the stupid wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One trillion dollars, gone. And we’re just getting warmed up…there are trillions more in future direct and indirect costs coming.
These two wars mutilated our economy. There’s no other way to say it. We’ve taken a huge amount of wealth and done things with it that damaged the economy. People are out of work and hurting today because we chose to launch two wars that aren’t worth the cost.
