Yeah Colorado is incredibly beautiful. I thought about moving there when I was younger, the prospects for employment were dismal though.

Never fear, I cannot ever leave permanently. My children would put out a hit on me for worst grandmother of the decade.

I am back in Iowa now and sooooooooooooo not loving this weather. Last night where I was it was 36 degrees and I was watching it snow up higher in the mountains..........now this hell tonight.

On the plus side, the dogs were fantastic. GD didn't have one meltdown even though he decided he wanted to drive most of the way. I had a great time, did lots of hiking and enjoying great fun and food with family. An afternoon trip to Creede was fun and I behaved amazingly well in the art galleries. (Driving a small car with 3 dogs and two humans helped) 2,025 miles and 5 days, I am back home. The cat survived and is happily snoozing next to me, the fish survived his week long feeding disk. And the dogs no longer have the shits (which made for a few tense moments in the car)

Oh yeah, and I lost 5 pounds since I left!!!!

My whole body was sore, mostly from the drive. Fortunately we got back home around noon yesterday and I was able to get some stuff done around here, many trips up and down the stairs, to loosen up before bed. So all is good now!

That is the thing about Co. It's either big time glamour and bucks, Aspen, Breck...Or it's flannels and khakis. The perfect place for an old and sore slit licker.

Sorry DG, all I brought back was rocks. An ice chest full, plus, of rocks.

The Colorado peeps I hang with go more towards jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, boots, sneakers, flip flops. Usually all in the same day.......with that weather it is allllllllll about the layers.

Welcome home LaT! Don't mind the mess we made in the barn from our little party *cough*. The livestock is all safe, I kept domiguy away from them...although it wasn't easy.

I was in Denver last month!

Oh we are like so connected!

domi tried to mess with your animals but they ran away when they saw him coming at them. The cute animals started crying from stress and trauma but I was playing them cute lullabyes on the guitar and that helped. domi howled at the moon untilt he coyotes chased him hahaha it was so funny!

So, I need to reassure the horses, congratulate the coyotes and bleach the tub...........got it!
