Status: offline 		You're right, popeye. I worked on Scott Browns campaign and at this point in the race, Coakley was way up in the polls. I work on Charlie Baker's campaign now and hoping to feel " the momentum ", again soon.

And idiots like Moran are just what " we need ".

Democrats aside (I aint one), you're the same fellow who believes that the "poor" (who, in real terms, account for a massive plurality of Americans) are shiftless, thieving welfare/crack babies. Based on that characterization, I'm fairly certain your team's not listening to "the people" either. And please stop capitalizing, at least with regard to the word "the;" definite articles are most definitely not proper nouns.

Scott Brown has a 70% approval rating here in Massachusetts. < 12% of registered voters are Republican >
Obama has a 55% approval rating.

In an extremely Democratic, Bluest of Blue States, that is amazing. And speaks to the people frustration.

edited to add : Now I gotcha, in reference to Moran. I don't see that as banking on failure at all. You don't live here and I don't expect you to be familiar with Mass. politics, but in the last year we have had 2 Speakers have to step down for corruption. One after the other. The do as I say policies of the good ol boyz in the state house is getting old for many of us, even life long Dems. We will never be a Red State and a Massachusetts Republican is  pretty damn liberal by  Republican standards. But the " old club " Dems are having a hard time.

Baker certainly has my vote.....Governor Patrick has been an unmitigated disaster for our state. I believe ...you will soon feel the Baker momentum build. I know no one who is voting to re-elect Patrick,  and many friends of mine are registered Democrats. It would appear there are a lot of middle of the road and conservative-leaning Democrats who see the President Obama, Speaker Pelosi. Sen. Reed and Gov. Patrick cabal, as bad for this nation and for them as citizens of the Commonwealth.....unless of course they are illegal aliens, elitists,  or people illegitimately nursing at the public tit.  There isn't going to be enough beer in the entire state .... to drown the sorrows of the elitists when the Governor is sent packing....

Patrick has been a disaster. I'd like to see Congressman Ed "The Ice Cream Man" Markey go too. My old congressman in the 7th.

Status: offline 		Meh, don't worry about it. I have my smart ass, snarky moments, we all do.

I suspect we would agree on  privacy issues and reproductive rights and a few other things. The fact that I worked for Scott Brown and Charlie Baker is more an indication of my Libertarian/Independent status than any sort of alliance to the extreme right. I can't cotton to their ideology.
