~Fast Reply~
i've started an LPN Refresher Course a couple weeks ago, since i haven't had my license for a bit due to health reasons. i've done two tests so far, and i got 94% and 92%. i love it and i can hardly wait to finish!! i'm just "eating it up!" It's a go-at-my-own-speed thing so i should be done, i'm thinking, by September or October of this year, even though i have a full year to finish. [:D]

I've never participated in the CM forums before. I just opened this account to chime in on another matter. I've found the other people here to be a wealth of information, though. Maybe I'll be sticking around a bit! [:)]

Well, life has been completely flipped on its ear in the past couple of weeks. Originally, I was supposed to be moving this month, and my youngest was supposed to be starting college in the fall in NC... THEN he was going to move to TX and go to school here... Both of these were a diversion from his original plan 3 years ago, to go into the Air Force... well... about 3 weeks ago, he made a 180, and decided (after completing his last semester of JROTC) that the Air Force really -WAS- the direction he wanted to go... and last week, he took his oath (though he won't be shipping out till October/November, because his school isn't until January)

So now, I'm going east for his graduation, taking my stepdaughter off to college up north (brrrr), and then... well... I think I'm going to take a little time to re-group and figure out what I really want out of the next 5 years. I've got my new motorcycle on order, and I know that extensive travel is going to fit into the mix... but everything else is up for grabs at the moment.

LadyPact -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 8:47:31 AM)

What a co-incidence, Calla!  LOL.

June brings Me the month of heading back East, yes, to attend My son's graduation from Basic Training.  I'm still nail biting about his final PT test.  Why I'm hung up on this idea that he won't pass, I have no idea.  It certainly isn't like Me and I wish the thought had never entered My head!

Believe it or not, we're driving.  MP can't stand flying (he's have driven to Korea if there was pavement across the ocean) so there's really no arguing with him.  Unfortunately, since he just returned to work after convalescent leave, the schedule is really tight and there is no wiggle room to see anyone else or spend any time at SELF.  I'm not thrilled about that by any means, but since the whole family is going to the graduation, I'm content with the thought of seeing My son, daughter, and My two grandchildren.  It's official.  I'm old.  Granny wins out over leather.  LOL.

The SELF disappointment is also offset by plans to have the opportunity to meet Jeff (Leadership527) and Carol at the end of the month and see other friends here in CA.  Something I am very much looking forward to after all this time.

The outdoor cat that had kittens over Easter weekend had finally gotten to the point of bringing them home.  For about two weeks there, I had four little furballs playing on the back patio, with the momma cat quietly looking on.  Unfortunately, she found reason to move them again.  (I think they were getting too close to the fence and the dogs next door for her liking.)  That was three days ago, but I'm still hoping that she'll feel safe enough again to move them back.

I'm driving, too. I'm not keen on flying either, and love the scenery between here and NC. I'll be hammock-camping in Mississippi (near Morton) and in Tennessee (Lake City) before camping out in my son's back yard through graduation week. *grins* I'd be going on the motorbike, except that I am now bringing my son back to TX for 4 wonderful weeks of bonding before he heads back to NC to complete his Eagle Scout project and head off to Basic Training.

I wouldn't worry about your son -- in my experience (my ex was certainly not a physical fitness guru before he went into the Army.. in fact, he was more geek than guru! *grins, and said in the most loving way possible), if he was going to have any problem passing the PT test, he'd have been recycled already. If he's already on the way to graduation, he's already squared away in the PT department.

Maybe I'll have a chance to meet some of you in the coming year, now that all the familial responsibilities seem to be off the table.

SweetDommes -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 12:03:54 PM)

The kittens are driving me mad - otherwise, nothing much has changed since my last post on the May role call thread.

I have claw marks all up my left leg from Holly's kitten trying to climb me while I'm wearing shorts, and latching onto me like he's made of velcro ... and no, trimming his nails doesn't help lol

LaTigresse -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 12:27:48 PM)

I've been busy. Had family from out of state come visit twice. Motocross most weekends. Family gatherings.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd A NEW PUPPY!!!!!!!!!

I was supposed to get her when I go out to Colorado next week. However, she was getting a bit too independent and escaping my sister's yard. Not a good thing as my sister's house in in the middle of a cattle ranch with cattle roaming all around the yard. Mean momma cows more than happy to stomp a wayward puppy. Not to mention the coyotes, bears and mountain lions that all roam the ranch....more than willing to eat a wayward puppy.

So my other sister, who was visiting there, decided to bring her back to me a few weeks early, on her way through back to Ohio (she and her son were the family that visited twice, once on the way to Colorado and again on the way back).

The puppy, Nala, was born March 16th (if I remember correctly) so is 11 weeks old. She is growing like crazy, just over 20# last Monday so probably over 25# now. Quite the handful and the cause of much lost sleep......but absolutely adorable.

We are getting ready to make the road trip to Colorado next week...........crazy broad that I am.......will be taking the M3 with 3 dogs. Along with a cooler of good Iowa beef and pork, a big camera gear bag, computer, and one cranky GD. Planning on driving at night for maximum dog sleeping peace. I am getting excited as there are two, day long, mountain trail rides planned and much BBQing and margarita/wine drinking.

I have entered a weird relationshippy holding pattern with two potential s-types.  Apparently, the universe has a sadistic sense of humor.  I am less amused.  However, the potential up side is enough to pursuade me to tolerate the frustration of not having a Plan.  (I like plans, I need plans.  I do not cope well with the uncertainty that accompanies the lack of a plan.)

I have also started a review blog in an effort to expand my writing portfolio and launch my name into the blogosphere.  Someday, I hope to earn enough from it to pay for the domain name.  The first session of the TNG summer mentoring program I'm running went very well.  I'm looking forward to the rest of the sessions.

Feral cats (mom and kittens) have decided to nest under my porch.  My dog is not a happy camper.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 1:39:06 PM)

It's June? Well, I am knitting a coat, and over half done... other than that, I am in a Mood of not really wanting to go out, though of course I am going to anyway. It's a combination of envy of other people's lifestyles, feeling left out, and just plain being my normal hermitlike self. Hanging out with Jeddie parrot all day? Works for me!

SnowRanger -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 2:22:26 PM)

I'm with Lady Hibiscus... It's June?!?

Hello A/all,

This Spring was as rough as usual. The let down from all of my winter fun was a bit more difficult this season. Work has been intense; especially during May. I am still somewhat punch drunk from all of the work. My old clunker of a computer gave up the ghost about the middle of May. I have been doing some horse trading and now hav e new(er) one.

On the positive side I found my cowboy hat!

Respectfully,
Mike

I'm currently doing research for a new novel. Been away from posting for the most part, mainly because of my writing projects. Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm here and still single.  If anyone wants to check out my profile and offer some help in landing a real domme, please be my guest.

LadyAngelika -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 5:22:54 PM)

Here, school's out for summer and I'm really just relaxing a little. Life is blessing me with lots of good stuff and surrounding me with awesome people so I'll most likely be grinning in the sunshine mostly in June!

pyroaquatic -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 7:08:27 PM)

Dear People,

treat me as an animal and I will do animalistic things.

treat me like I am insane and I will be insane.

treat me like a slave and I will do slavish things.

treat me like a person...
and guess what...

I will be a person. There is hope for me. I am medicated and my future is very bright. As long as I stay on my medication.

My experiences with CollarMe leave me wanting and upset.

Just because my mind is sometimes in disarray does not make me an INVALID.

Being highly functional I still cannot find standard nine to five employment.

So I do what I do best and create my own. I am successful.

I would love to have a woman in my life. A woman to care for and cherish. A woman to dote upon and massage. A strong woman who will not break or bend and holds resolute to her own standards.

Give me the damned ball and chain and ride me like a work horse.

I have strength, flexibility, intelligence, reflexes, endurance, and wisdom.

and a nice sized penis. That helps too.

I will not stop until She has multiple orgasms. It does not feel right otherwise.

I find pleasure in the simple act of serving these orgasms and my self to Her.

Until the next time....

~Pyroaquatic

(^my journal^)

I have a contract with an older (much older) woman. I pay my rent in work. 60 hours per month for a back patio that has me less than fifteen feet from the ocean/bay.

It is MY space and I am QUITE happy. My hardened exoskeleton is softening and my meds are not giving me hell. Finally, some inner peace.

I think my landlady knows I am submissive but I do not ask questions pertaining to that matter. We speak of many things however. I am a handy MAN and must repair/garden/clean/do anything that is asked of me (no sex).

My body is becoming quite toned, too. Six months ago I looked soft and mushy.

Now with yoga, exercise, and an almost vegetarian diet I am proud of my body. (yogurt and lots of it).

Goodnight Ladies and Gentlemen.

I will rise with the sun.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: June Roll Call (6/2/2010 8:47:23 PM)

Glad to hear you are doing better, Pyro!

Parade wave, Mike!

TERMS, no fair running off with no news!

Glad to hear so many happy stories!

youngsubgeoff -> RE: June Roll Call (6/3/2010 12:28:57 PM)

Welp, I may have one heck of a month coming up here. I've got a chance to go to Asia for about a year and play music in a house band type situation. If this is legit, the company (el-live productions), would pay for my plane tickets, work visa, hotel, food, and still pay me 2g's a month. Currently the locations open are: Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Ho Chi Mihn.
