ORIGINAL: gungadin09 In the last year i have been approached several times by Doms, out of the blue, who just figured out i was submissive. It was at work, by customers or coworkers, who i had barely spoken to. The first time, it was before i even knew i was submissive myself. That strikes me as odd. Can You guys see submission? Can You "spot" a submissive on the street? How do You broach the subject with a stranger? i think it's very strange. i could not "spot" a Dom. On the contrary, they are often the very last people i would expect. Any information would be much appreciated. p.s. i should add that i'm very quiet and hard working, but i'm not aware of acting "submissive" at work. However, i have been told that i'm "mysterious", and i have a tendency to get picked on or taken advantage of a lot. pam When I'm scanning for fem/sub, I'm looking for eyes.... Mostly mutual eye contact and how hers react to mine. A bunch of hooey? Maybe, but as far as I'm concerned, Nature equips us to recognise our "own". And sometimes it doesn't even need to be a mutual eye contact. Sometimes, some women (on tv, for eg) have eyes that elicit an overwhelmingly magnetic interest to mine - they just gush "submissive". An example is an oldish movie I watched recently for the first time called "Meet Joe Black". It stars Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt (as the Grim Reaper) and I don't even know who the female lead was who played Hopkins' youngest daughter and Pitt's love interest, but her eyes, DAAAAAMN, those utterly alluring, hypnotic eyes.... Add all manner of subtle (and not so) submissive gestures and dialogue and I just couldn't stop watching. Now the dialogue can come from script writers but the mannerisms and those gorgeous eyes...? I was gonna watch it again just to get her name from the credits but logic kicked in.... I mean, what for? We're never gonna meet.... I say the "eyes" have it...! Come on OP, you only take an interest (or not) in a potential Dominant *after* they've identified themselves as such? Or are there familiar cues and clues etc that pique your interest and curiosity long before intros and info are exchanged? Focus.
