      The little red bumps will go away soon enough, prevent ingrown hairs by freeing them with those cheap little plastic toothpicks (might need some assistance with the hard to reach ones but it's a fun little scene from either side) and the cheap hair conditioner works just as well as the more expensive body shave creams.  That wasn't so hard now was it?

       The real problem is when you let it grow back..... OH MY GOD it itches!

I actually did it once, and then let it grow back in. It was VERY itchy, I will agree, but I found that using Aloe Vera Jelly (I use it for anything, but only the 100% pure stuff) twice a day really helped.  Once I figured that out, it wasn't so much of a problem.

This has become a reoccurring event for me. I did it once as a dare with someone and I enjoyed the feeling. I have found it is helpful to soak in a tub hot hot water for a few minutes. I get a clean and smoother shave this way. of coourse afterwards the use of a skin lotion helps keep skin and hair softer and less irritation.

Sorry guys, i know it's a touchy subject but i can offer some help.

After shaving, use regular underarm deodorant in the area you've shaved.

Use a lofa when you wash.

Baby powder will stop the itch

Old stripper tricks that works.

I'm one of those poor female souls who has the worst time staying bare. None of the regular tricks worked well for me. There is a rather expensive skin treatment called SkinTend, about 20 bucks a bottle, but it might help if all the above doesn't.  It's rather like an acne treatment, from the list of ingredients, but it does do the trick where loofah, lotion, dry shaving with electric + dry powder lubricant did NOT.  It actually can prevent the darn hair pores from becoming so inflamed in the first place, although it can't prevent in grown hairs entirely--keeping the skin from flaring up is a great start.

Shave it and keep shaving it.  Otherwise, endure the itch.  Scrub the area with lufa or washcloth to help prevent ingrown hairs.

I find that baby oil in the bath tub works best for me.  Helps with the in grown and i tend to like to moisturize everyday afterwards.
