Ok- prices went up here for a haircut.  So I went to a beauty school.  I hate to be prissy over hair.  Cut if off- no big thing.   It took 2 of them to figure out how to give me a military haircut.  Time consuming-- but I did get what I asked for - prompting me to tip.

My neighbor lady does not want me too get the short hair cut. As she likes it long.  She has better AC too.

So- do you keep your hair shorter during summer?

Nope, just trim the ends here and there.

I cut my own hair, it's down to my ass.  It took a lot longer than one summer to get that way.  NO.

I have a nice clipper with the attachments, I can buzz your dome PA!!

I have hair that barely hits my shoulders, and it gets shorter in the summer. I loved my long hair, but one day at work, MY HAIR WAS TOUCHING THE BACK OF MY NECK. Drove me nuts, I had to get a haircut RIGHT THEN. Thanks be, my hairdresser was available. At the moment I have a PONYTAIL long enough to tie back. EEEEE!

My hairdresser is very stern and unrelenting. She does just what she wants, and all is well. She trimmed yesterday, but just to keep the ends even, because her goal is long. I must pick my battles in this life.

I am actually not too bothered about my hair...I sometimes cut it when I feel like and 1-2 years later its back long again...it grows like grass....personally I don't have the time as such to look properly after my hair (oh well...I don't take the time as such for it) and am better off with short hair...the only reason why I don't cut it right now is as I want them to be long on my graduation next february....after then...if my mood still screams for it....they will be short again for a while...so its not dependent for me on the weather...however I experienced once where I think the hairdresser nicked my hair to use it for their extentions or whatever...against my will and gosh was I pissy....on that occassion she took at least 5cm more off than I wanted and my hair was back in the stage again where it is between being short and between being properly long...just that awkward stage...and gosh did I hate her for that...personally I prefer to see them as less as possible....and only turn up before interviews when it is advisable to get some form again into my hair cut....if they would be dependent on me, they would get bankrupt....

reminds me on a battle when I was about 10 or so...I wanted my hair short...and did the hairdresser bother? no Me coming home in tears as they only cut my front and my mum calling them angry why they didn't do what they were told to do....they claimed that I would be shocked if I would see myself with short hair blablabla. So my mum told them straight that I came for a short hair cut and if that is what I want and pay for that this then is what we expect to get! So she returned back there with me and made damn sure they do what we asked them to do....and guess what I was the happiest kid on earth that day.... Why do they have to be so damn interfering in what we want....

Over here I have been twice to the hairdresser in the last 3 years, once before my uni interviews and gosh did that one screw it up...she kept banging onto my ears all the time (not just a little bit, far too often and far too hard...) needless to say, I won't be back there, does not matter how many voucher they keep sending me for cheaper offers...the last one was a bit too rough (though that might have to do with my fibromyalgia) when she kept going through my hair it did hurt like mad on top of my head (on the skin)...where I just thought "cant you be just a tiny bit more gentle, fucking sake..." seriously...I dislike them almost as much as dentists, but at least dentists do give injections when they are about to cause pain, whereas ignorant hairdressers dont

I just had about 3 inches of hair taken off the back of mine, not for the summer, but because it was so damaged at the ends and I'm growing out the layers.

There are two words in that question that I don't recognize:  "shorted" and "hair". LOL

No.  I keep my hair the same length all year round.  The same style as well.  A french braid.  I am boring that way.

I pull it up, usually in a Frenc--I mean Freedom Twist with a ponytail

Oh hell.  Are you saying that after all these years I was supposed to be calling it a "Freedom Braid" and not a "French Braid?"  Damn it!

The last time I cut my hair (not just a trim) was when I was in middle school...I had it cut chin-length.  I've been growing it out since then, and it's finally where I want it to be, down to the middle of my back.  My hair takes forever to grow out, so I'm not going to cut it just because it gets hot outside lol.  Besides, my Master prefers it long.  One day though, I'd like to cut it to donate it, since people always compliment my hair...that way someone else can have some of it  :)

Me too. I don't care what he wants, *bad sub* I like big fat 80's hair and I won't cut it ever. Summer just means that I might wear it up, but no I won't "short it" .

I don't get it cut.
My Ex Master used it as a handle and a leash and loved the way it looked spilled over my pillow.
