In my experience there have been times where things have happened that were so hilarious it becomes difficult to maintain that "Dominant Demeanor". How do you handle it when something unexpected happens and all you can do is laugh?

Within my poly family, we enjoy the hell out of having a good laugh, hug each other and giggle until we run out of giggles, and then either regroup and finish the scene or move on to vanilla sex or cuddling. It's all good. In a professional scene, I may turn the energy towards humiliation (eg, direct the laughter at him), punish him because it's his fault for screwing up (whether that's true or not), or otherwise redirect in order to keep my Twue Domly-Dom Demeanor intact. But it really depends on the person and how much I trust him to be willing to interact with another human being as opposed to needing to stay completely self-focused and inside his own fantasy.

Yeah, one of my partners has exceptionally well developed glutes. He can just about crack walnuts in there. So we tend to see everything as an opportunity to have fun, including farting in the middle of a scene, strap-on mishaps, hopeless bondage rope tangles, dropping the flogger, etc. As long as nobody got hurt, we enjoy the laugh and move on when we're tired of giggling at whatever it was.

I've never even considered the idea that I might be "supposed to" not laugh when I break a paddle on a guy's butt. It's fun, I'm happy, why not laugh? Even better if he laughs too, and all the people watching as well. Life is for living, live a little.

Mostly I just go with the laughing. Because I spend a LOT of time laughing when I play. The one time laughing wouldn't have been such a superhot idea he was blindfolded so couldn't see me doubled over, smothering my face with a towel... [8D]

Wait..you mean we are supposed to have a "Dominant Demeanor"? Ooops! lol I can't remember ever having a session where neither my sub nor I didn't laugh! It would be so boring to have to have a certain look all the time. Epic Fail on my part! lol I laugh too much! I was standing at the foot of the bed, with glove on for quite some time and decided to resume flogging with the other hand. Well, I love flogging, and I love ass play, and when I wanted to alternate hands, I'd remove the glove, put on another, add more lube and continue...the other hand used the flogger. I was down to the last glove I'd brought with me, and I was in such a hurry to put it on that I ripped it all to heck, lol. I had been so close to finally pushing the knuckes past and yet there I was, impotent, because I wasn't going to continue bare handed. I laughed myself silly.

One of the first sessions with my current girl & I was one for the record books of funniest bloops & blunders. Long story short... We had purchased a brand new set of vibrating eggs earlier that evening that was part of the mix. At the end of the festivities when I went to remove the eggs one came out with no problems but all that came out from the second lead was the bare end of the wire where the egg should have been attached. Well... I know uh-oh is not something you ever want to hear & it certainally isn't something I should have uttered... but escape from my lips was just that.... Uh-ooohhh She went into a slight panic, thinking OMG---trip to ER---OMG! I assured her that I knew exactly what to do & everything would be ok. (where's an evil smilie when you need one) I marched her to the restroom, told her to sit on the toilet-- told her to focus & look into my eyes-- then I told her & motioned to her to take each thumb & place them them under her arms (armpit area). She did so .... Then I told her to flap each elbow up & down & cluck like a chicken [:D][:D]

Thank you MstrssPassion, I so needed that laugh today. My funniest blooper came when I was trying to give a little unexpected tug to an inflatable toy. I threw the bulb end away from me, but it came off and bounced across the room. It took me about 20 minutes to stop laughing and crying because of the laughter and get the damned thing re-attached.
