There are many posts here in the forum on this exact subject....but again here is at least my answer..........

My collar is only worn when we go out to clubs, events or gatherings

When home or going out to do family stuff, I wear my diamond necklace that Sir gave me

Have had people stare and ask why am I wearing "that thing" as they put it..........and I flat out tell them the reason

As to my family and friends..........it is none of their business and if it were I would tell them the same as I tell strangers

If it was a blatant collar- 95% of the time it was nothing but long glances or complete ignore. The other 5% of the time, people might ask if it meant something or why I wore it.

I don't have a collar, I have an engagement ring which never leaves my finger. We just have to sort out some red tape and then we can get married......yes I know it's "vanilla" sounding but our friends know what type of relationship we have

My family has no idea but then they live in another country so no need to tell them.

People generally ask if I have the keys, or know I can get out of it. Other than that I get a lot of compliments on the lock. I painted it black and added a gem, and it's pretty nice looking.

No, my Master does not require me to wear one 24/7, but i usually wear it at night and when it suits my outfit.

It is a black 1/2'' leather collar with a buckled back, an O ring in the front joining the two sides and two spikes on either side.

i have had very good reactions. Mostly compliments.

i do not wear it around family as it upsets them, but i wear it around vanilla friends, yes.

This is as close a photo as i could find. Mine is actually polished stainless steel, of about a 1/4 of an inch diameter in thickness. It also closes seamlessly unlike the one in the photo, it actually looks like it is welded around my neck, it is not but you would have to be a tool maker to remove it.

Hello All,
I wore the black leather collar you see in my profile picture 24/7 for 11 months. I was released last month so I don't wear one now.

My Boss thought it was a little wierd, my parents never really ask, my 18 & 22yr old kids know, and most friends and associates that ask me about it got the truth and had no problems with the information. Some even started persuing their own kinky paths after we'd discussed why I wear my collar and how wonderful it was for me to be into BDSM.

One time a 12 year old (or so) kid selling candy in front of my grocery store said "Excuse me Maam, but you have something on your neck". I ask him what was on my neck & he said "some black thing". That seemed very random, but again I didn't feel it was negative.

Overall I was very happy and proud to be under a 24/7 collar.

i wont be collared till sunday, but i still got the answers

i am required to wear it all the time [not so much when i am in private] i have permission to remove it to shower and sleep, the key is [already] locked to my bedpost

i have a 2" thick black leather collar with a D ring in the front and it locks in the back

and yes, all nilla's will see it. i think after a period though, of showing that i will wear it with pride and all that, He will be getting me a smaller one, to wear to fancy social gatherings and the likes. from what i understand at least.

I wear my collar 24/7. It is a gold chain choker, and i get many reactions, never a negative one. And yes, as my family knows about my lifestyle choice, they also know of the significance i place on it. My friends just think its pretty and classy.
