Personally, I don't give a damn whether the corporation is from the US the UK, etc. Just clean up the mess and start paying for the damages to the people, the land the water the wildlife, economy, health problems, etc.
BP is a multi-national corporation, has offices in the EU the UK and the US, and is one of the 6 supermajor oil companies that are private not state owned.
