I read a fair few. http://www.xkcd.com tagline says it's 'a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language', which is pretty accurate. If you read any webcomics, you've probably already heard of this one, updates 3 times a week, almost 0 storyline, almost every comic works on its own. Vast majority are extremely quick reading 3 panel format. Highly recommended by just about everyone, some of the jokes are too technical for me, but it's definitely worth checking out. Damn nerdy. Hovermouse over each comic for (usually) interesting alt-text. A few examples of the scope http://xkcd.com/53/ http://xkcd.com/55/ http://xkcd.com/89/ http://xkcd.com/104/ http://xkcd.com/116/ http://xkcd.com/123/ http://xkcd.com/439/ I'm putting too many here, ya know what? Just read it. It's good. http://www.pbfcomics.com/ Often amusing, no longer updating, some misses but worth reading through the modest archive. http://www.buttercupfestival.com Surrealism, sorta. Very well done surrealism. Extremely slow updates, but I do like this one a lot. you can find the first volume here http://www.buttercupfestival.com/buttercupfestival.htm and second here http://www.buttercupfestival.com/2-1.htm. The third is what ya get on the main site these days. http://www.smbc-comics.com Updates every single day, often 1 panel comics. Sheer quantity and regularity makes it worth checking. http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=489#comic Made me laugh particularly. Hover over the red button in the more recent comics for the/an extra 'punchline'. http://humon.deviantart.com/gallery/ If you enjoy scandinavian social commentary, this is for you. Anthropomorphic personifications of nationalities, mostly focused on the scandinavian region, but bringing in the anglosphere fairly regularly. http://www.giantitp.com/ The Order of the Stick. This is a D&D comic....never played, or known anyone whos ever played D&D....I don't think it's much in existance over here...but I ended up reading this anyways. In the beginning, it was funny, 726 strips later, the storyline has me. http://www.blastwave-comic.com/ The slowest updating comic around, but the art is good, and I like it. Been 5 years so far, and 46 pages....so won't take long to check. http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/ This is more a comic for producing sad children than curing them, started out with a storyline, but it...pretty much died. My favourite is actually a guest comic, http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com/index.php?comicID=227 but when I checked out that artists comic it sucked, so.... http://drmcninja.com A Doctor/Ninja, with a couple of sidekicks: a 12 year old mexican boy who grew a tache through force of will who rides a velociraptor, and a gorilla receptionist with a rocket launcher. You should probably know whether you'll like it or not by now. There are more, but that'll do.
