I wouldn't say it's THE weirdest confluence of people I've ever heard of, but it IS up there. Elton probably was asked not to do a compilation of ALL of his songs, because then the songs might outlast the marriage...

Damn, I didn't realize he was getting married. And I didn't even send a card[:(] Oh well, maybe next time. Oh and I think it's great that Elton got the gig. I always liked his music and then there is the added bonus of poking the haters with a stick.
