Here they come movin', weavin', flyin' high and throwin' spray, Blades flashin' sticks crashin' tryin' for the play, And the Blackhawks, take control, There's a shot, AND A GOAL!

 


Just sayin'  



I'd love them to win it and clinch it tonight, but they would play the last game at home Friday and boy would that be sweet to win it at home.

THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ARE THE STANLEY CUP WINNERS
Game 6 overtime 4-3 Chicago!
LAst time they won the Stanley Cup was in 1961

It was a mass of confusion, because Kane made a shot, but the light nor the buzzer went off so no one really knew they won.  He was the only one who knew it went in lol.  I think it went through the legs of the Flyer's goalie lol.  Even in the replay you have to really watch to see the puck go into the net.  Then the Blackhawks started celebrating lol. 

How awesome is this!!  CONGRATS CHICAGO, you are a city of Champions even if it took 49 years to bring the Stanley Cup home.  Congrats Jonathan Toews for MVP.

grins, god i have tears in my eyes.  My phone and im's are going nuts as my crazy friends are celebrating -- oh lord it means i will be drunk called all night tonight lol.  Its times like this i miss being home the most.

Status: offline 		grins, i am still very excited, and exhausted without the fun of the party as my friends were calling me all night while they were partying trying to "include" me in the celebration lol.  Ya gotta love them even when you want to kill them.

I have a special event jersey i am bringing to work today and hanging up for all to see.

I grew up in the Chicago Area, I went to Loyola University and spent my 20's on the south side lol.  I moved to TN about 8 years ago.  But Chicago will always be home.
