ORIGINAL: NeedToUseYou Fiscally Conservative (PRIMARY ISSUE), and by that I mean actual fiscal conservative not bush era psuedo conservative crap... As in I'd balance the fuck out of that budget, or that shit would stop moving at all. I have no pet projects, other than a balanced budget. As for the rest, of course I'm all about individual freedom, so, anyone that is a fiscal conservative by my standards, and isn't a fascist, will get my support. My parents, while never spoke of politics outside of uninformed complaints or whanot, I'm 100% positive would be in the liberal camp of thinking. I am so up to here with the oxy-moron "fiscal consertavie social liberal" How does one pay for social programs if they are a fiscal conservative? I didn't use that in my post. But I'll attempt to answer what I think it means. Well, it generally means, that they are liberal in their views on such things as abortion, gay marriage, right to privacy, etc.... Whereas, in recent years, and it's arguable, those claiming a general conservative label infers support of such things as the patriot act, pro-life, anti-gay marriage, etc.. As far as I go, in regards to welfare since that is what you are targeting, I think there is to much of all forms of welfare, both individual, and corporate, that doesn't mean, one can't share some typical liberal viewpoints otherwise. Also, as far as my views go the military is way to big as well, so, I'd be happy to slash there as well. Additionally, I do think some social programs are necessary, just not to the level, you'd probably like.
