Many of us are parents and many of us live with other people who may or may not be involved in the lifestyle. Some even log onto CollarMe while at work or public wi-fi areas or internet café’s. Have you ever had someone notice that you were on CollarMe and ask you about it or point out something that they noticed? How did you deal with it? I am asking because a situation came up yesterday where my oldest walked past and saw I was on the forums and noticed a certain persons nick name and chuckled. She thought it meant something it didn’t and she asked me about it. I explained what it meant. However, this got me wondering how others would handle this such a situation.

For me, anytime I'm on a site such as this I make sure there isn't a possibility of nilla eyes seeing my computer screen. Or, if there is a slight possibility of nilla eyes seeing what I'm doing on the computer I make sure to have another screen open so I can cover up. As for viewing CM while at work, not gonna happen (not to mention my last day of work is Monday [:)]). If you're not on a laptop Inked, and not able to avoid people walking behind you, I'd suggest waiting until they aren't home or they're sleeping. No reason to place yourself or them in a position that can be avoided. [:)]

My daughter walks by me all the time when I'm c.com. She just rolls her eyes. She's never asked and has never cared.

My daughter noticed Peon's nick and asked if it meant he liked to be peed on. I explained what it meant although I admit it made me chuckle.

Oh HELL NO! I do not have this available where my kids can see it ever. Nor, my parents, nor my nilla friends. I never enjoyed the thought of my parents having sex or doing kinky things, why would I subject mine to my kinkaliciousness?

While I do take care that nobody is exposed to things they should not be exposed to, we have a policy of openness and honesty. So, should one of the boys notice something and ask, the question will be answered honestly, as they always are.

My computer has always been in my bedroom, and faced away from the doorway so no, nobody has ever noticed w hat I was doing and asked about it.

I am at my daughter's apartment and I kinda let her father (and her) know because they will stand behind me and I hear giggling behind me. She admits to me that she is sadomasochistic by me with her BF agreeing with me. Finding tools of the trade when I clean her bedroom I laughed like crazy. When I am home with Mom, I don't look at it unless she is at home or asleep.

My computer is in My room and the only time anyone looks at it whilst standing behind Me is if I specifically invite someone into my room to view a specific something. Otherwise, NObody sees what I do or where I go on my computer. No children are ever present in this apartment, so kids seeing what I'm doing is a non issue.

If i am in a public place, i turn off Pictures and try to position myself so the screen doesn't show. Having another window available sounds like a good idea, too. i would not even have CM on if my grandums were around.

I'm with fluffy. I just don't have that kind of thing on the machine when my grands are around - or when their parents are either!

I always have a second screen open, or I shrink down the edges so that nothing but the writing can be seen. I make sure that the Things are not around if I'm reading the forums, or I make sure that the avi's don't show. I generally don't perv profiles unless I am by myself or the Things are asleep. I don't need questions being asked that I'm not prepared to answer. One time when I was checking my history, one of them asked what site it was and I said it was about pet adoption. No further questions were asked.

I have two navigators, Chrome and firefox, and use firefox exclusively for private things. Of course, I don't have any easy access key. That way nobody can see anything. Also when I'm in Class or around the University, I active economic mode of the laptop, for lowing the intensity of the light.
