I am seriously considering trying something like that, however I do not know much about them other than the limited commercials I have seen. Apparently you buy the router, and set it up, and then you have a usb drive type item, that slips into the sub port of your laptop and then it makes the lap top have wireless service too. However you only need the usb thingie, if your pc does not have a wireless recievr in it already.

We bought a wireless router, but we can not make it work with my Earthlink, no matter what we do, and I think something like Cisco might be better, since I am getting rid of Earthlink anyway.
