The lungs in this article were apparently healthy but I was wondering what you'd think if they weren't?  Would you still want them if you desperately needed a new set of lungs?
If you needed a new liver would you want one that is in the early stages of Hep C or would you want to wait? I know they do thorough screening but this is just a hypothetical question.

Well, at least she didn't die of the cystic fibrosis. But then I think the aftercare must have been pretty shitty if she got an operation that most likely cost hundreds of thousands of pounds and only lived from Feb to July. How the hell did they let her catch pneumonia ? My buddy had it really bad years ago and they literally poked a hole in him and drained all that shit out, it was that bad.

The fact is that they're probably about as incompetent as the dufuses we have here. I would rather go to a veterinarian. Shit, after smoking for 30 years, the pneumonia could've been nothing more than a cleaning cycle. But there is another varible that was not mentioned. She may have been on immunosuppressive drugs. That does sticky up the wicket.

We could solve all this shit in one fell swoop if we were willing. Pay your doctor bill every month. When you need to see him, go, he has to do whatever is needed for free. To keep you alive is to keep your checks coming in. Say it's fifty bucks a month. A hundred patients would make you a tidy sum, a decent living. Other things like CAT scams and whatever are ala carte'. But whatever the doc has to do, he is already paid, just like a lawyer you would keep on retainer.

Laugh all you want and tell me those plethora of reasons why it wouldn't work, but remember, you only live once.

T

(CAT scams is not a typo)
