ORIGINAL: ThatDamnedPanda If he doesn't have a plan to clean up the spill, he needs to stop braying about "how on top of it" he is. He can't have it both ways. If the federal government does not have the means or the ability to clean up this spill, he needs to just say so instead of constantly telling people he's in charge of making sure it gets cleaned up. The problem is the complete disconnect between the rhetoric and the reality. The guy's an empty suit, spouting empty promises. I've completely had it with him. I'm done with Obama. It's reached the point where every time he comes on the television, I jump to change the channel. I've heard the same speech so many times, I've got it memorized. I don't need to hear it again. Bullshit, both he and Thad Allen have said on more than one occasion exactly that. The government does not have the expertise or the equipment which is why they have relied on BP. And rightly so. This is BP's mess, let BP clean it up.
