What the Judge did was "remedy" an outcome by giving overwhelming advantage to a group, who although equal in number to the "whites" didn't exercise their freedom and right to vote resulting in an outcome the federal government said was unfair. Residents get 6 votes each in suburban NY election - Yahoo! News PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Arthur Furano voted early — five days before Election Day. And he voted often, flipping the lever six times for his favorite candidate. No, you've gotta actually read what you post. Everyone gets 6 votes, not just spanish speakers. It's a good idea as they're voting for multiple positions, not just one winner....

In fairness to Brain, the article was not well written and I had to reread it to realize that everyone got six votes. I would have appreciated knowing how giving people who undervoted more votes would help anything. I can't see any effect...
