Hi Everyone :)

I joined about a week ago and have been sorta inundated with cmail, but am definitely enjoying the message boards. What a wealth of shared ideas and laughs to be had there! I love to write and to read.

I'm a 37 yr old slave, hailing from the Canadian part of the world, otherwise known as Vancouver, British Columbia (this year's winter olympics were in my city - pretty exciting!), although I've spent the better part of the last 7 years in the Middle East, serving there.

Like everyone, I have a story. I share openly some of it, some not so much. Again, like everyone.

I'd like to think I'm somewhat enlightened, but in truth I have barely scratched the surface when it comes to understanding myself and my world. But I keep on wanting to learn, which led me here.

Ideally, my Master would find me here...life as an unowned slave isn't the happiest that I have ever known, but I'm willing to be patient (read: grit my teeth and bear it, yearning and longing and writing my heart out) but if he's a little lost, or currently distracted I'll understand and attempt to aquire more patience and continue waiting
