Cassandria, the way you described spring (and i have heard all seasons are in Vancouver especially wonderful) striked a chord in me, because it is something so joyfully overwhelming great/great/great when spring starts, that i feel most years as if i could explode..Spring..again, Yes,,,, all is so green and starting again....

The first time I ever heard Jazz music.  I remember it clearly, I was way young, but it made such a huge impact on my life.  Ellis Marsalis...  There was this amazing and truly magical sound coming from the radio.  It was like my brain exploded inside my head spraying colours and imagination everywhere.  I remember just standing there, staring at the radio on the kitchen counter in absolute awe.  It took years for me to understand the music, but somehow, then and there, I knew that the music somehow understood me.  I don't know if that makes any sense at all to anyone else, but, to me it was ... I don't know...  Like looking into the face of god?

Getting over a fear. I had a deep seated fear of heights and went to see the Nazca lines (not thinking that I'd be in a plane. duh.). The pilot (aviator glasses and all) was sitting next to me. He had this beautiful caramel colored skin, black black hair and a crisp, pressed white shirt. He was calm and confident. Something about the shirt... the expectation... I don't know. It made me feel safe and secure. If he wasn't going to be worried, I wasn't. I sat there and looked out the window the whole time. I didn't even take any photos. He laughed and asked me about it. I was so thrilled to not be scared that I didn't want to hide behind a camera. I wanted to suck the marrow out of life!

Status: offline 		Experience AGAIN??  Hmmm... loads of things I would like to FINALLY experience.... as in have not experienced YET, but as for again..

I would love to experience that feeling of my very first sex again.. the sheer amazement that I was FINALLY doing it and the rush associated with it,  That rush from my first ever joint.  None have ever seemed as intense and that feeling you get when you see the birth of your first child.

(1) I agree with the "location" ppl, and for me, standing in Yosemite on a perfect late-September day, deeply cognizant of the numinous, edges-out seeing the Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre (all caught-up in the beauty and deep history of it and images of a red-scarved Audrey Hepburn) -- both moved me to spontaneous and uncontrollable tears of positive emotion, broader than mere "joy."

(2) Relationship firsts: meeting a future friend; better, a future lover -- that first glance, flirtation, touch -- ahh that first kiss -- the first time he slides home in me, firm and sure; Even that first awful shared experience, when it serves just to deepen us.  Oh I want all that again.

(3) Impossible to experience again, but oh if I could: the incredible joy and satisfaction of bearing and raising my children.
