The topic is facial hair and I know the OP was asking about men, but women do have this issue also. My thing is that if maintenance is a priority for any gender, why should facial hair be an issue? Now of course anyone who does not endorse personal hygiene or maintenance then yes, we must move on. Just my 2 cents, here. OMG, all these are great. Laughing at ourselves as women and our trials and tribulations of personal upkeep. (smiles) quote:

Interesting. I know that just over the past 4 years I've developed a line of dark hairs that grow along and under my chin line. But I've always had fairly thick and dark hair so I figured it was just how the testosterone in my body was functioning. I either pluck or shave them. It's a natural progression as women age - especially when menopause starts kicking in. As our bodies produce less estrogen, hair can start growing in places we'd rather not have it. I've got a half dozen stubborn little bastards that keep popping up on my chin (and one in the middle of my cheek that, for some reason, I never see until it's 2 inches long!). Tweezers are my best friend, these days. i swear if i didn't upkeep i would look like a man. :) Tweezers, Nair, and wax are my friends. At some point i will develop a close relationship with laser hair removal. i just love my European ancestors!! (ugh) Trust me, it just gets worse. And then my OCD kicks in and i have to be pried away from the mirror and tweezers, and there is screaming, and gnashing of teeth. (Ah the things my Master doesn't realize, LOL)
