So the Tea Party darling here in Florida old Marco Rubio is in the middle of a foreclosure.  This after he paid back $2,500 for misuse of a Florida GOP credit card.

While that $2,500, for charges he now says were "Mistakenly" placed on the card, may seem like a small amount one of the reasons he was so quick to pay it was to try and prevent further digging into the records.

What about this says fiscally responsible?  I have a house up for foreclosure and I got caught dipping into the cookie jar,  but hey I am a great guy who knows how to be responsible.

Edited because I forgot the link.

Actually, Democrats have a better chance to win if Rubio is the Republican candidate in Florida. Rubio is Dick Cheneys' guy and will vote for the Republican party line.

Charlie Crist In Tight Senate Race with Marco Rubio in Florida, Two Polls Show

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, who switched from Republican to independent, holds a small 37 percent to 33 percent lead over Republican Marco Rubio in his bid to win the state's Senate seat, with Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek trailing at 17 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University poll conducted June 1-7. Eleven percent are undecided and the margin of error is 2.9 points.

Charlie Crist switched to 'independant' when he was getting his but kicked in the primary. The dems are grasping at straws right now.

Try again, servant.  Crist is/was a republican.  Democrats had nothing to do with the decision.  But I know, I know....you can't think past that dem/repub border that divides it all.

Of course he was a republican, running against Rubio in a republican primary. Rubio was kicking his butt and he dropped out of the race to run as an independant.

I'll alert the wire services and the reporters that they are not supposed to publish stories that upset Arpig.

And now Crist is ahead in the polls, so what's your point?

Sorry it offends you.

Basically it is the SOS different package.  But since he and the people who support him have run on moral stances, being "fiscally responsible", and new and different I would like one of them to explain that to me.

It's a political opinion board and you are complaining that people are posting political opinions.

Then Hi, my name is Petty.

I only asked a question.  Cause for now I have to agree with one of Hunks phrases he likes to post in the middle of discussions.

"Meet the new boss same as the old"

I wasn't insulting, I didn't throw out any rude names.  He is the Tea Party darling here in Florida.  They keep trying to tell everyone how different they are and what they stand for.  Yet this is what they are supporting, same crap different package.

I think they have been sold a bill of goods that they swallowed hook line and sinker.

No...I haven't seen any political opinions expressed in this thread...just an attempt to discredit someone from "the other side". Perhaps you have all been acclimatised to such petty gossip-mongering that you consider it political opinion, but its not.

Maybe that's because you've spent the entire thread trying to scold everyone like naughty schoolchildren and drawing everyone else into that.

So one can express an opinion but not ask a question?

These are the people being supported and pushed as something new and different.  I want to know why they think this is a representation of either.

I would have the same question if he were the Democratic nominee.

Of course you can ask a question, but answer me this question....what the fuck does any of this (defaulting on his mortgage and dipping his hand in the till) have to do with his position on government fiscal policy....don't bother I'll answer for you...nothing, that's what, nothing.

He's a crooked politician who is going through financial difficulty and so decided to skim a bit off the campaign for his personal use, that makes him a crooked politician, not a hypocrite for saying the government should exercise more fiscal restraint. The fact that he is supported by the tea party folks does show that even they are faced with the same problem as the rest of us...how to find an honest politician.
