The e-mail comes under the subject line “Nikki Haley” and links to two news reports, one that notes how Haley converted to Christianity in her 20s and another from the Christian Broadcast Network’s David Brody that points out her 2004 campaign website for state legislature had sections highlighting her Sikh background.
But today there are no Sikh references on her website or campaign literature.”

“Again, I'm not questioning her faith,” he repeats, “but I absolutely can't stand a liar.”

The chairman of the Pickens County Republican Party circulated an e-mail to GOP activists and party elite Friday suggesting that South Carolina gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley has lied about her religious beliefs.

Anyone who doesnt know that she is a Sikh just from the last month mess alone doesnt deserve the truth, its omission at best, shes not denying it,
It sounds like a smear campaigns last ditch efforts as the affair bullshit has proved false so far.
Right now it just makes them look petty, and only fit to be judged as bigots

lucy, she WAS a Sikh and now claims to be a Methodist.  She attends church, she speaks the lingo - what more do they need to establish religious ties?

My bad, WAS a Sikh
if she was a convert from/to Catholicism,  or Judaism, there wouldnt be an issue(well apart from the crappy anti Jewish bigotry)
We do seem to attract a lot of people who dont care about  the difference between a Sikh and Muslim.

When a bunch of crazed Sikhs commandeer planes to fly into US targets, then I might equate them...
