Wonder if you guys can help, I'm looking for some atmospheric music for a scene, something slow and rhythmic one track or a series of tracks that flow and last long enough for an hour or so.

You might find a wealth of information on past threads on this by using the search feature. There are a lot of good recommendations from folks over the years.

Sometimes I'll roll my own. If I find a passage of a song I really like I'll trim it down carefully in Sound Forge and then cut and paste it as many times as I like and save. I have a 30 minute loop of the opening bars of Judas Priest's "A Touch Of Evil" that is just plain brutal. The cut/paste points are undetectable and it's excellent dungeon background music. One day I'm just going to write and record some scene music from scratch.
