Dearie me. There isn't really a better issue he could have picked to kick off over than that one, is there? It's one of the Repukes' biggest maggots, unless the have a laissez faire pretend Texan in office whose quite happy for businessmen in his State and California to cut their overheads by employing illegals, whereupon they all shut up about it.

FR: sounds like they horse trade. they also sneak in unrelated line items, and don't read what they sign. Once again- I doubt it is a R or D exclusive issue.

Of course it isn't. Doesn't stop the Republicans presenting themselves as the only party that's against this sort of thing, though.
