Really? Can you sew lambskin like regular fabric? I've never worked with it before. At the same time, I feel guilty about using the skin of poor little baby lambs. What about microsuede? That might work. Hmmmmm.... I've been thinking about this project for sometime and imagining how I could draw up a pattern. I do have a nice glove collection, but I haven't been able to replace that black pair. Were opera gloves made of lambskin, too?

I have a huge collection of vintage gloves, but only a small number of them fit my big hands. Lambskin, some of superfine jersey, crepe, all kinds of things that you really can't find anymore.

Thank you so much for the input! I would love to see your collection, I have very small hands (hint, hint). After seeing the lambskin, though, I thought that microsuede would make a fine alternative.
