-- they also want to privatize Social Security.

That's what you find objectionable?  How about this for a start.

Homosexuality – We believe that the practice of homosexuality tears at the fabric of society, contributes to the breakdown of the family unit, and leads to the spread of dangerous, communicable diseases. Homosexual behavior is contrary to the fundamental, unchanging truths that have been ordained by God, recognized by our country’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans. Homosexuality must not bepresented as an acceptable “alternative” lifestyle in our public education and policy, nor should “family” be redefined toinclude homosexual “couples.” We are opposed to any granting of special legal entitlements, refuse to recognize, or grantspecial privileges including, but not limited to: marriage between persons of the same sex (regardless of state of origin),custody of children by homosexuals, homosexual partner insurance or retirement benefits. We oppose anycriminal or civilpenalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values.

So Hunk, you don't care that they wish to shove you into the back of the closet and prosecute you for any acts they deem unnatural.  Your just concerned that they have no time line for Iraq.

I am not going anywhere.

I do love the line about the majority of Texans being gay bashers deeply opposed to all of that horrid poofy stuff. Don't Houston and Dallas both have quite a reputation as party towns?

It's hard to know where to begin with all the contradictions in this document.

Let's start with numbers three and four:

3. Limiting the expanse of Government Power.
4. The sanctity of human life, created in the image of God, which should be protected from fertilization to
natural death.

6. Self-sufficient families, founded on the traditional marriage of a natural man and a natural woman.

Does anyone know what an unnatural man and unnatural woman would be?
Aliens from space masquerading as human?

We believe that rights belong to people – not groups; therefore, we reject the notion of group-rights and policies that grant preferences based on race or gender.

Family and Defense of Marriage – We support the definition of marriage as a God–ordained, legal and moral commitment only between a natural man and a natural woman, which is the foundational unit of a healthy society, and we oppose the assault on marriage by judicial activists.

I guess they only reject that notion of group-rights when it is not their group.

Likewise for the statement about preferences based on race and gender.  I guess it's okay to have preferences as long as they are the correct preferences.
