I thought she was more qualified during the primaries, still do.  And I am no Hilliary fan. Liked her hubby, but not her.

This is what happens when college professors end up in the White House.

I know what you mean Popeye, it sucks having someone intelligent in there.

If only we could have Dubya back.

Yes and he wrote something about children sueing their parents, they couldn't find anything else that he published besides that idiotic book.
Barbara Bush's book about her fucking Beagle was more interesting!
Rule, you'd suck Obama's dick if he asked you, wouldn't you!

Yes, I definately think HRC is ready to make a move. Obama's numbers are plummetting. Jay Leno said; "Even Jimmy Carter is comparing Obama to,.....Jimmy Carter!"
I don't think HRC is going to be happy with Sec. of State as her final position and she's no political rookie, she smells blood in the water and she knows Obama is in trouble.

Actually, I supported Clinton over Obama in the primaries.

Well, she'll be almost 70 years old before she runs.......Howz America gonna deal with a Golda Meir as prez?

It would be better than having Yassir Arafat as president.

mnottertail -> RE: Mrs. Clinton is BACK! (6/23/2010 12:12:51 PM)

well, hes sorta dead, so----------yeah, I guess I could agree with that.

I'm not sure that'd be a problem for the Republicans: weren't they after Peter Cushing to fire up a generator and raise Reagan from the dead back in '08? They only settled on McCain instead because somebody told the chimp that The Curse Of Frankenstein is just a film. He was proper put out, apparently.

pahunkboy -> RE: Mrs. Clinton is BACK! (6/23/2010 2:41:03 PM)

Maybe she will be UN president.

Colo alternative medicine 720-379-7295I consider the thread title misleading. There are dissatisfied Dems, and Hillary's name is getting bandied about. No indication that she'll run or that the movement is pro-Hillary rather than anti-Obama.

Neither is not good news for the democrat Party nor the Obama Administration come November.

pahunkboy -> RE: Mrs. Clinton is BACK! (6/23/2010 6:24:01 PM)

I do think she would have been better then Obama.   She has a sharp mind- is older- has some real life wisdom.   ....and maybe- I stress MAYBE- the guts to buck the system when needed.

anybody but hillary- is what we - ... got.  HA

FatDomDaddy -> RE: Mrs. Clinton is BACK! (6/23/2010 9:53:51 PM)

Actually, I expect Obama to have no problem in winning his party's nomination.  And I have no doubt that Dems will vote for him and Republicans will vote against him.  I expect his popularity with independents or lack thereof, will be the deciding factor in whether he gets a second term.

And that's the key Steven, the Independant vote.
Without it you just can't win.

I'll go further... I don't think that factionalization of the party means much for Obama in November, but it does make a huge difference the rest of the year.  Namely, whether his legislation gets passed.  In this partisan political climate, there are few bills that will get bipartisan support, so he needs a cohesive majority party to pass anything.

I don't think it would matter which party Obama belonged to, his "philosophy" is just devisive anyway.
Also like Bush he's just not a "likeable" figure.
