ORIGINAL: DarkSteven There are dissatisfied Dems, and Hillary's name is getting bandied about. No indication that she'll run or that the movement is pro-Hillary rather than anti-Obama. Neither is not good news for the democrat Party nor the Obama Administration come November. Actually, I expect Obama to have no problem in winning his party's nomination. And I have no doubt that Dems will vote for him and Republicans will vote against him. I expect his popularity with independents or lack thereof, will be the deciding factor in whether he gets a second term. I'll go further... I don't think that factionalization of the party means much for Obama in November, but it does make a huge difference the rest of the year. Namely, whether his legislation gets passed. In this partisan political climate, there are few bills that will get bipartisan support, so he needs a cohesive majority party to pass anything. I don't think it would matter which party Obama belonged to, his "philosophy" is just devisive anyway. Also like Bush he's just not a "likeable" figure.
