I read the interview.

I believe the masseuse.

I believe her too. But by her own accounts what happened was not a sexual assault.

Awwww, the "global warmers" must be crushed! (again) Their "high preist" caught in matters carnal with a common prostitute! (Masseuse")
He must have rubbed (her) the wrong way. And she called him a "poodle?" So the Grand Kleigal of "global warming" is hung like a hampster?
We should start calling him "Big Al" now. Maybe prostitutes will start giving him a "discount" now.
Oh how the mighty do fall.

Wow..... and Albert Einstien divorced his wife to marry his cousin. All of his work is discounted too right?

What happened was unsavory.  But then- that would be expected in that type of work.

I do not know if it was sexual assault.  It was alot of 'not nice things tho.

It makes for a good read.  I seen the pdf a link via Drudge but it is gone now.  I noticed they blacked out her name- on every page but page 14.  Yikes.

LadyCimarron -> RE: "Crazed Sex Poodle" (6/25/2010 12:28:01 PM)

When I first saw the topic "crazed sex poodle" I clicked on it because I have a toy poodle and lately he has been humping everything that he can get his little body up on.  (teddy bears, pillows, dolls) I've been telling my child that he is just playing but I don't think she's buying it. I thought male dogs didn't go into heat?

I tell you what, if Al Gore can go half as much as my poodle can, he is baaaaaaad motherfucker (which is linguistically correct since Tipper is a mother and he was.......well, you know)[:D]

Update:

Portland massage therapist ... confided in a friend shortly after the 2006 incident
Published: Thursday, June 24, 2010, 9:14 PM     Updated: Friday, June 25, 2010, 9:07 AM

A close friend of a Portland massage therapist who accused former Vice President Al Gore of groping her says the therapist told her soon after the 2006 encounter that she'd been violated and assaulted by "someone in the higher ups."

Donna Burleigh of Keizer said her best friend didn't identify the person, but when Gore returned to Portland years later, her friend "freaked out."

"She freaked and split. She said her predator was back and coming to town. She up and left," Burleigh said.

Her creditability just grew.

No idea what you're talking about, old boy: it sounds like he did a good job of warming her globes for her.

How one paper tried, and failed, to confirm Al Gore sex allegations
A Portland paper did everything possible -- even posting Craigslist ads -- to verify the charges. And it couldn't

Three years ago, a reporter at the Portland Tribune got a tip that led his newspaper to a potentially huge story: A massage therapist had accused Vice President Al Gore of sexually assaulting her in late 2006 inside his room at Portland’s Hotel Lucia.

...

Using a combination of sources and shoe leather, the Tribune spent a year tracking down the alleged victim, reaching out to associates of hers and of Gore, and learning about their habits and their accounts of the evening in question. The paper went so far as to take out ads on Craigslist searching for more potential victims in other cities that Gore had visited. But in the end, the Tribune could not put together a story that met its standards of journalistic responsibility.

The story is fairly long and detailed in all the steps that the paper went through to investigate the story.

It reduces the woman's creditability quite a bit, in my mind.

Credible or not, Firm, "crazed sex poodle" is still a damn funny mental picture for Gore.

What do you get when you cross Al Gore with a poodle?

Answer in white:

Improvement in the human gene pool.

Lets paraphrase her version of the story:
She was alone in a room with a naked man, rubbing the naked man's body. Then the naked man got horny and started coming on to her really strong.

There is not much that can reduce her credibility to me. This is the kind of that stuff that goes on all the time in normal people's lives. She is not claiming anything over the top. The fact that she is looking to get paid for it now is a bit troubling to some people, but just by circumstance alone her story is believable.

LC,

I'm not making a "final judgment", and likely never will, as I wasn't there, and do not know the facts.

I can easily see where it could have actually happened, and the women has been hurt and left uncertain, and that's why she has reacted the way she has.

I can also easily see where she could be a bit kooky, looking for some kind of emotional attention, and her meeting with Al gave her an emotional (non-rational) impetus to take advantage of the situation.

Not enough evidence either way.  Not yet, anyway.

Salon did a compilation of Gore sex scandal stuff here: http://www.salon.com/news/al_gore/index.html?story=/politics/war_room/2010/06/23/al_gore_sex_assault_story

They believe, and I do too, that the evidence is pretty lacking.  The second article shows all the things a paper did to dig up dirt, and failed.

Jeff, Albert Einstein was a great, maybe *the* greatest scientist of our time.
Al Gore has become a scam man just a notch above Bernie Madoff.

That is how a lady handles these things.

No lady I know would do any such thing....a simple no thank you works to a verbal proposition.

But the woman in question does not claim a verbal proposition, she claims he grabbed her and kissed her despite her objections. Neither did I state verbal proposition; I said "unwanted advances".  Which to me mean means he put his hands on me. If a man won't take no for an answer and puts his hands on a woman as the masseuse said Al Gore did, she should very well have used physical means to stop him.
