Keli, I'm not even sure why you started this thread. Was it to berate those of us who enjoy queening? The latest horror I've heard is that a virus that can cause cervical cancer can be picked up by someone performing growler-service on a woman. He (or she) can then get cancer in the throat as a result. Nasty.

HPV, human papilloma virus, has been found to be a chief cause of cervical cancer. Very contagious, often symptom free. I gather that pap smears are not a regular thing for women in the UK? I could be dead wrong there... anyway, HPV has several forms, and stays HPV, doesn't mutate into other things. Still, ucky.

Personally, I love it. I insist on it. However, what I also insist on is NO STD of any sort. (This is listed as a sub heading....pun intended....under both Safe and Sane.) So, get tested, make sure you have the facts, and have fun. People need to use common sense. If your sub has a cold, and there's a possibility of cold sores, wait until all is well. If you've been diagnosed with HPV, get professional medical advice. I think that's the virus Peon mentioned, and yes, it can be challenging. But not impossible to live with, and love with. Ask a qualified medical professional. There are kink- friendly docs out there.

Close to the first of the month when she's trying to attract attention to herself, which I think she believes is good for 'business'. I hope I speak for most of us women and men for that matter who enjoy queening. Most of us are adults and are educated enough to know the dangers of sitting on a strangers face or even the face of a friend who's sexual history is unknown to us. We know that its just as dangerous as bareback sex, unprotected anal, needleplay or hitting someone with the same bloody flogger that's just been used on someone else. That doesn't mean we shouldn't do queening but what it does mean is, we should take the appropriate precautions. If people don't then its their risk.
